    Sportscene is a joke …Celtic’s first goal shouldn’t have stood as Kyogo fouled M’well player in the build up , then (of course) BIG focus on the Boli handball .

     

    Contrast with huns game , no mention of Sevco player only getting yellow for grabbing Hearts man by the throat or Porteous type tackle .

    Sportscene’s ex-deid team player reckoned there was no foul at the first goal. But the only people who didn’t see Boli’s handball seem to have been the ref and linesman.

     

     

    I am no fan of Scottish fitba’ commentators (apart from Michael Stewart and Willie Miller) but credit where it’s due.

    By this time next week we can be within a point of them, thanks to our euro game being on Tuesday and theirs on Thursday. St Mirren are on a good run and, ref permitting, could pick up a point, or three.

     

    Thought Turnbull showed Motherwell nice respect today by not celebrating his goal.

    I think that we can be confident in saying that if the ref and linesman had seen a penalty they wouldn’t have hesitated to give it.

    Hart – not a lot to do, brings confidence to gk position, prefer, done just fine

     

     

    Ralston – good energy, generally poor final ball, worked hard, done fine

     

     

    Starfelt – poor positioning in first 10 minutes and last 10 minutes and could have cost us, played well rest of the game, Done fine

     

     

    CCV – big, stong and powerful just about sums up his game. Won a lot of balls in the air and ground, good game.

     

     

    Boli – looked after ball and linked play up well down the left. ps pen was stonewaller but must be given some room for error given the way he is dropped in randomly weeks between games, good game

     

     

    Calmac – linked things up well and closed down well. Very good games

     

     

    Rogic – very good game for the most part, wit a pass for jota, very good game

     

     

    Turnbull – very good goal, good game

     

     

    Abada – worked hard but crossing was all over the place, perhaps a little to much football so far this season, avarage game at best

     

     

    Jota – good goal, takes care of ball and has that bit of magic, good game

     

     

    Kyago – quiet by his standards but worked ass off, pressed well and instrumental in first goal. Some of his touches are just superb.

     

     

    Good preformance and a good win

    Two consecutive away wins, ground made up and players returning from injury. Keep it up, Celtic. We need to ask questions of them this season, I doubt they’ve the bottle for a tight title race.
