We are at least 50% less effective without Paddy Roberts.
MacGregor and Forrest really need to get into this. They should be having a field day against the likes of Thistle.
I would put Bitton on and take Lustig off, go 3-4-3, push KT forward. Also Griff on for Edouard.

I can see why BR was talking about signing a creative player. That is a Celtic team bereft of ideas and attacking flair.
We would fair better if we didn,t give the ball away . And imho we have worse players on the park than eduard . I think brendan has his favourites .

However, I’m not confident.
I have become increasingly worried about what’s coming from our management.
If BR thinks we are better (God knows in what sense) than last year, i seriously worry.
We are plainly not a patch on last year.
I said a few games ago that we have regressed to a Delia team. Passing for the sake of it , no one moving for the ball and too slow in possession.
KA will have to be careful with his runs into their half as he is as slow as me trying to get back and thats slow.
Brendan must see what is going on.
Press our defence and we give up chances.
We need to get the ball in front of our midfield quickly and therefore if we lose the ball we don’t give up a goal scoring opportunity…as we still have protection.
Also this way of playing seems to be a bad percentage game for us…we make 3or 4 mistakes per game which can cause goal scoring opportunities against us and we have to be playing very well to create that many chances against a packed defence

Important 2nd half there has to be some kind of response,we cant continue this laborious build up there has to be more urgency and directness.Agree with a lot of posters our style has been sussed out.Present teams with different problems.

Wouldn’t worry too much about Europe this season. Zenith will beat us home and away.
At no point was I buying the too tired excuse, always was more to it than that. Injuries to creative players, Rogic and Roberts hasn’t helped but we were still rotating our squad regularly that players were still getting a break.
I think Eduards all round play has been decent but again we’re not getting enough from McGregor.
Big improvement required, c’mon Celtic, shut the doubters up, the only way you can.

Having consulted google CG penalty stats are that he has faced 40( including tonights) saved 3 , 2 when playing with Hearts and 1 with Celtic and 37 have not been saved. Seems like poor stats for an accomplished shot stopper.
