Duffy has been a disaster and Dawson has been one of the best centre-backs in the EPL this season.
Was Moyes’ judgement poor and he dodged a bullet or would he have got similar performances from Duffy?

If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree it will spend it’s whole life thinking it’s stupid. Last summer when Duff left i called for the appointment of a top class coach which was clearly badly missing. What followed was the appointment of Gavin Strachan, an example of the type of cronyism and inert thinking that sums up the absence of modern progressive thinking in the boardroom. We are an elite football club run by arrogant middle aged men who know nothing about football in this modern age.

But I think your argument falls when you try to justify or argue a Celtic CB has had a good game despite him being regarded as directly culpable for two goals in a 4-1 defeat.
What would it have taken then for him to have had a bad game?

I am so gutted with the team effort and fight today .where was it? such a dramatic decline in the space of 12/16 months .
