    Problem was we went from a familiar 3-5-2 to an unfamiliar 3-5-2 (Broony in there) then to a 4-4-2 all within the space of 10 minutes

     

    The players had to adapt to new formations in a short save of time

     

    Barca would struggle with that before getting back into some sort of tempo

    We changed to 4-4-2 when Bauer came on, the players implemented it so badly it looked like they were still trying to play 3-5-2, that was my point

    I’m a part time poop patrol/police. Laptop set up in attic so I watch the games up here. Get to look down from above on the rogue poopers and hide while I shout out the window in one of my poor pretend accents. “pick yir shite up” has been muttered in the heart of Louisville at many an hour. Sometimes I’m Indian, some times a redneck. All harmless fun.

    I was out between 7 and 10 so I taped the match and have just watched it back in speeded up mode. Our passing and control at that speed was exceptional- yes the 2nd half saw some foot come off the gas but that first half was a really good watch.

     

     

    N’tcham, Forrest, Taylor and Eddie all looke dup for it and Simunovic, Broony and Ajer took it in turns to break the lines.

     

     

    It’s just a well done to all concerned and on to the plastic pitch of Hamilton where we are likely to see something a lot more boring than tonight.

    I know we got only a cameo but Polish Paddy really through himself forward to try & get a touch for a goal, cleared his line at the other end and make one exciting burst forward, pass unfortunately slightly behind James. Very early days but looking forward to seeing more of him/

    Now and again it will be nice to throw a ball over the midfield for a pacy striker to run onto. A wee move like that now and again is great for taking the opposition by surprise
