just checking to express two things. Firstly my shock about the news on Fernanado Ricksen then my subsequent guilt at slagging off his book on these pages last night. Feel like a proper heel, I know a man in my parish wth 3 kids , he`s only slightly older than Rocksen and has been dealt the same blow. Last week and ex team mate of mine died at 54 from a brain tumour…….I know it is maudling but it fair puts all the nonsense we speak into a relative comparison.
As ever, I take a selfish slant and wish I had never had a cheap shot at the book ( and the man) simply to assuage my guilt. There is my weakness, I hope it is the only one.
I wish Fernando and his close people all the best.

Davy has been the chairman of the Methil bus for many years now.
He still runs the bus.
He stopped attending away matches last season.
He still has his season ticket , attends most home matches, but spends most if his time in the bars around CP on a match day.
He lurks on here and has posted in the past.
He was at my house on Sat night to help me celebrate my 50th.
James still attends most domestic matches.
He stopped travelling on the Methil bus this season( which was a major shock to me ) and travels on The Joe Rafferty bus from Kirkcaldy.
The Methil bus does not run for away matches and KDY one does, he also lives in KDY.
I spoke to him at Firhill on Sunday.
It is indeed a small world, and CQN is a wonderful forum.
