The Fifa Executive Committee meet in Zurich today and tomorrow but it is unclear if the allegations of corruption concerning the decision to award the 2022 World Cup to Qatar will be on the agenda. The world body are no strangers to allegations of corruption, it seems to be an internal part of the fabric of the game at the top level, they are also extremely experienced at stonewalling such allegations.
The International Trades Union Congress, who are calling for the 2022 vote to be re-run, have called for fans attending games this weekend to turn their back on the field at the 22nd minute, to build awareness of what is going on with Fifa and the Qatari preparations.
When you get corruption at the top of an organisation it tends to undermine process all the way down. A clean and alert Fifa would give us a far better game. It’s time we were all asking questions about this.

“I decided to go to the train station only to be told that there were no more trains to Malaga that night and so I was now truly stranded. By chance I met an old man who asked me if I knew where the train station was. “It’s no good mate they are all off—all the trains have gone!”
“The old man laughed and explained that he wasn’t looking to get a train, but just needed to find the station as that is where he had parked his car while he and his wife went to the game.
“We spoke for a few minutes about what had happened to me and then he said if I could get him to the station he would drive me to Malaga as they were staying twenty minutes outside Malaga for the rest of the week!
“I was delighted and accepted the lift and we got to the airport just as the last call went out for my flight. I rushed on board and guess who was there? None other than my mate Jim. I owe that old man and his wife so much for their help.”

BT ha i struggled myself. The control panel you speak of seems diff on my lap top than others so can’t seem to get sound switched from lap top to tv. Wouldn’t be so bad but wife russling crisps louder than lap top!!

when hdmi cable connected, go into control panel and click on speaker icon, should show hdmi icom, click that and set as default, should then transfer to tv..
Drambowiecelt, itis a one off cost of £30 and it must be very easy to set up if I managed without any help, you plug it in to the HDMI slot with your laptop on. Jt can take power from another slot on the tele or a normal electrical socket. Cables are provided.
The instructions give you a website to go to and you just follow the prompts. Hardest thing was finding my wifi password.

That’s exactly how I feel. Can’t understand why this issue isn’t being forced. We all know that it is a new club but they are desperately hanging on to the myth as their history is so important to them and the authorities, abetted by SMSM, don’t want to rock the boat or open the proverbial can of worms.
Sevco can eventually recover from any other scenario in theory – except that one. That would be the final nail in the fragile coffin. If there was a way that this could be brought to a head, through the club or otherwise, I would be 100% behind the effort.
