    Can’t put this down to bad luck. Bad preparation, bad defending maybe, but not bad luck.

     

    Said before the game we would have to be clinical in the key moments at both ends. We weren’t.

     

    Still I see comments about the Europa League. Let’s maybe get there first? That isn’t guaranteed.

     

    Far too much complacency. Ten in a row, treble treble, low bidding for McGinn because he would wait.

     

    Lot of hard work to be done at all levels, but we can regroup and achieve if we get things right.

    I have thought long and hard about this post, it will be my last on CQN.

     

    Leaving not because of the anti Celtic posters, leaving because of the board lovers, they are to blame IMO for where we are today, had they called out the suits when needed etc, etc.

     

    I hope yous are happy, the huns again IMO will win the league this season, I for one am not willing to stick around and see it come to fruition, the suits have had the opertunity to call out the powers time and time again, nothing, all they care about is the bigot £, ef them.

     

    We are where we are today cos of the biscuit tin mentality, for sure it has brought us a couple of trebles, with total respect to Brendan, a Half wit manager could have delivered that, he has asked for quality, sorry Brendan, not from this board.

     

    I have better things to do with my life that bother about this, it has been a gas, I have enjoyed most of it, can’t take it any more, the crap infighting, the board lovers telling us it will be Ok cos they are keeping their powder dry, jeezo, get feckin real, they are selling us down the river, they only care about the muney.

     

    RES 12, LNS, The illegal registration of players for more than a decade, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc….but most of all the refereeing cabal, it’s a feckin joke, yet silence from the club, but as long as we beat the huns a few times……

    Problem is bhoys that even if we do qualify for the EL it will be full of teams such as AEK and better. Given our performance tonight I wouldn’t get too excited about being in the EL unless we seriously invest in team strengthening otherwise it could be a wee bit embarrassing

    This perrenial problem of CBs is choking the life out of CL attempts, injuries happen, when was last 2 good CBs we had in Europe, VVD and Denayer? Heid and McManus were better than we have just now ffs

    I was going to moan about our performance in the tie.

     

    What’s the point, the man and his dug knew we lacked in defence.

     

    When will the board learn to invest while we are in a position of strength.

     

    So disappointed. They where there for the taking.

     

    The only cheer up is I’m off to Santa Ponza with my bhoy gor his 21st at 6.30 tomorro for 10 days.

    I am in 100% agreement with you.

     

    Proper Investment was needed in the last two transfer windows not just this one.

     

    Especially in defence but all over the team in reality.

     

    Everybody blows smoke up Rogic but for me he is a hit and miss player.

     

    Everybody seems to think we have three top strikers but for me they all have flaws.

     

    Even the more consistent performers like KT and Broony make plenty of mistakes.

     

    I was surprised Brendan did not bring in more players from the start of his reign but to be fair he managed what he had very well….However I feel that he should have been backed far better by the board and the chickens have come home.

    BUT, I contend you knew that; I knew that; and most importantly, Celtic knew that; Celtic knew ALL about what they faced.

     

     

    They knew the limitations of the side they faced. They still couldn’t overcome a very average team that seemed to rely heavily on riding their luck.

     

     

    Explanation? Well, that’s open to debate. And will be, heavily, in the nex tfew days.

     

     

    Solution? Sign that AEK backline with the Boyata money, and STILL have change to spare.

    Speculate to accumulate has always been my idea..

     

     

    TBH I find EL a waste of time and fans being put out for Sunday games, I’d rather not be in that sham of a competition

    Don’t be daft. King Moussa was injured and that proved costly. Imo he would have made the difference on his own. Mistakes made and blame needs to be apportioned but let’s stick together.

    We clearly can’t do clear your lines and break up play for 20 mins of a European game. How msny times have we lost goals in the first 10 mins of a game now?
