The bookies clearly think that they have little chance – 6/1 to win. But, as with almost all live Scottish football games I’ll be watching. And cheering them on.

The champions league will eat itselve up. Right now massive clubs from smaller leagues are happy to accept what’s on the table because there is a good chance they will generate good money without risk, but as the door closes those same clubs will look at other ways to generate money with less concerns about risk as uefa and the larger league clubs will have already put them at risk.
Its worth remembering the combined population of europe’s smaller nations accounts for the biggest percentage of the overall population in europe.
Eufa recall ought to open up its mind to allowing cross boarder leagues etc…. to allow for greater compitition.
I would prefer a 2 teir pan european league made of scottish, dutch, belgium and denmark etc.. teams with regional relegation and promotion. Those same clubs would be able to compete in the current european compitition, but real compitition would be achieved as well as parity accoss european football.
The same pan european money could be replaced in the east and south of europe. I think that would actually be far better for the bigger clubs from bigger nations as well, well in the longer term
