Celtic interims show what a stable club looks like

869

Celtic interim accounts for the 6 months to 31 December were released this afternoon.  The standout figure is that, despite Champions League revenue being absent this year, football and stadium income was down from £16.8m to a similar £16.5m.  This suggests other ticket sales increased.

The hit from the lack of Champions League came in the multimedia and commercial column, which was down from £19.5m to £7.9m, but the club still make an operating profit of £3.2m.  So, we’ve a fairly solid club on our hands.

We invested £5.7m in players, while making a profit of £7.1m on disposals.  With player trading, tax and interest all accounted for, we made a profit for the period of £6.601m.  This Armageddon thing is working out quite well.

The Monkees’ “Last Train To Clarksville” was clearly the best choon posted tonight!

    Hail Hail!

  2. Ffm ithe hilarious thing is that I love an argument. Even funnier is that it became my career.

I deal with silly arguments every day. Occassionally someone teaches me I am wrong. It’s great.

Some of the stuff is way over abusive. But BCW and others have helped me realise that it’s pointless being dragged down.

For example Pedrocaravans rediculous attacks earlier.

  3. HT,

CQN has been great for meeting celts , who you meet from their blog names then realise you sat on the rebel bus together way back in the day

Neganon2, I have no interest in your incessant whining but on reading back I saw you mention me in a post and read that as you stating that not turning up, saying one thing and doing another, general slovenly behaviour is acceptable in your opinion.

Fair enough, but in my opinion you lose credibility when you demonstrate the fact that you are an unreliable person, you demonstrated that perfectly well to me.

You blaw hard but you are a bit of let down, and I doubt you are worthy of trust. I wouldn’t have wanted you anywhere near me in the trenches.

Other than that, keep on whining.

will give you a shout tomorrow, let you know I am up and running

  9. Just re-read my last posting.

Of course, if RFC hadn’t died, we would never even have heard of Sevco, nor that other infamous line “The Holding Company”.

I recall someone expressing sympathy for Andy Cameron.

His material never was as funny as the RFC/Sevco scriptwriters.

Saint Stivs, you sat on a bus wi Catman? That big man and I were in the same year at school. St Tony’s, then he got whisked away to the posh school:_). His older bro was in the same year as my older bro.

I’m convinced that he’s involved in a love triangle with Mrs Lawwell. I don’t think big Peter knows Catman has a secret bunker in the Lawwell bedroom and he’s out of the loop, or triangle.

HT – 3 please. I know I’m a charlatan asking for away tickets on a holiday week-end but if you can get them I’d be grateful.

And if you don’t get them then that’s OK as well.

  12. ACGR

the bold CATMAN, his mam and dad have a place in my heart, lovely lovely people and a journey shared to seville and forever grateful for how he sorted me out.

on the light hearted side, i do suspect PACIFIC PETE has a direct line to HEATED DRIVEWAY PETE and thats how CATMAN knows what he known

HT – or anyone else who knows – how do the St Mirren ticket arrangements work?

Nothing on the CFC or Saints websites that I can see so far – will there be some guidance nearer the time, is it first come first served, or what?

  16. ACGR I let you down and I apologised for that. You threw it back in my face which you were perfectly entitled to do.

But I said then and I say now I am NOT your boyfriend. Your somewhat creepy friend and acolyte pedrocaravan sought me out early on this point.

I am not even slightly intimidated by you amd your entourage ACGR. SUre circumstances were not great and we didn’t meet. It wasn’t deliberate but only my wife has the right to make me feel bad about that perpetually.

I find it hilarious that loose associations feel like nagging women.

There is something particularly unsavoury about it all.

To,repeat I am not your boyfriend or gimp.

I’ll only get tickets through the bus because St Mirren rarely give to individual supporters, the vast majority go directly to registered buses

Sorry, just saw your coment to phyllis dietrichson. How do they know who is who?

Actually, there is fair time to go before that game, so I’ll try to find out more in the next couple of weeks. My priority at this moment is to get to bed so I am fit for the drive to Dundee, so night, night Timland.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow – really eventful season so far, and we are loving it.

Really looking forward to the game tomorrow. It will be the first time back at Dens park since I took young acgr to his first Celtic game. I’ve no idea of the date probably about 10 years ago (maybe our resident Celtic historians can help). We won 2 – 1. Larsson and Petrov scored.

The wee man when asked how he enjoyed it by mrs acgr on returning said, it was great but I didn’t like the swearing…………………………These days that bhoy would put a squaddie to shame with his vitriolic mooth:_)
