A full three hours at home in 2 games without looking remotely like scoring a goal. Not one flash of individual skill or brilliance in 180 minutes. No one prepared to shoot from distance. Putting needles in your eyes might have been preferable to watching the Kilmarnock game, and today was only marginally better.
What ticks me off is how complacent we are at home. We start every game as if we expect a good outcome will transpire by itself, instead of working to make it happen. Then, when we lose a goal, we miraculously start moving the ball faster. So why don’t we do that from the start?
To be fair we did start both games V the Minis at a fair pace and swept aside Sevco in a ruthless manner. But I get where you are coming from. I can’t get my head around Sevco outscoring us this season!

We are playing a very different game than the huns, virtually every game we play is a cup final for our oppo, most of the teams the hun play don’t try a leg against them.
That’s my take on it :-)

Good Evening Champions of the Magnificent variety
A champions breakfast indeed was had and enjoyed by all attending from the celticrollercoaster family. Thank you VFR for organising.
We had 19 shots on goal ( 6 on target) today
The Sheepies had 5 shots on goal ( 1 on target) and defended very well.
We lost today, not for the want of trying. Perhaps our shooting needs to improve?

Was flipping between the two games today … have seen most of our games and a few of theirs this season …
I don’t think their attack is good enough to make the step up to European football (whereas ours could be), but in the SPL at least, they seem to be more entertaining than us … quick attack vs our plodding pseudo-Barca style … and fortunately, they can’t defend worth beans even in the asPL…
We are undoubtedly better, but, except on rare occasions when it clicks, I don’t think many neutrals would describe Celtic as a particularly entertaining team to watch this season (what we’re we …. 7 home games in the league this season where we failed to score.) ….

Well that was a sore one, losing at home is not a good way to celebrate winning anything. Thought the days of losing to the Sheep at Celtic Park were over, obviously not. All will be forgiven of course as long as we beat Motherwell next week…and if we don’t we wont be able to say we never saw it coming.

In the SPL, with the amount of possession we have, we would almost have to shoot at our own net not to be outshot …
And if our possession is all around the opposition box, chances are bound to happen… eventually platers just give it a Wells
But we CREATE remarkably few given our superiority…
Last week, the midfield came back, supported the defence, and moved the ball forward quickly … so, we know they can do it …. but today (like too many games this season), they didn’t, resulting in this stilted football that was too common this season

Champions League seeding
With Liverpool and Madrid both qualifying automatically for the Champions League group stages, it doesn’t matter who wins the Champions League final – Czech champions elevated to groups directly and Celtic will be seeded in all 4 Champions League qualifying rounds.
Also, seeded clubs playing 2nd leg at home only applies to first post-group stage ties. We played Rosenborg and Astana at home first last summer.

One more game to go, thereafter, we need a rightback, centreback, attacking mid and striker.
That is based on first teamers dembele, rogic and amstrong leaving as well as, eric, boyata and jozo. (any of the fringe players can go)
Enough transfer income generation from that lot to get 4 ready made starters to sort the team out for new season.

We need to be more direct from time to time, we dont hurt teams with our slow play, we encourage them to sit in and double up all over the pitch.
Also we sometimes need to get the ball into the box first time, not start again and again, that would maybe get the other lot thinking more and create indecision, thats why shite seems to score lots in this league they play the % game. I dont want that all the time but occasion, yes please

114 teams entered LMS10 with hope in their heart. By the time, we hit week 10 and the play off final, we were down to a Magnificent 7 teams all competing for the title of LMS10 champion and an incredible first prize of £650.
Equally important was that we all had raised an amazing £616 for our “My Mate Mick” and £154 for “Just another Street Dog” our two chosen charitable causes.
So onto the results
At 90 mins, the standings looked as following
Moniker Accumulated correct wins at 90 mins
The Exiled Tim 3
Rubi 3

praecepta 1
Zico Maltese bhoy 1
