Got a ticket on the morning of that final. Had been to that other 3-0 title clincher v Dundee just before it, you know the one that felt like every Tim on the planet was in the ground!
Arrived thinking we’ll never get in when we saw the queues, but, colours concealed, we went in with the Dundee supporters, and managed to make our way round the East Terracing to the home section.
Now that was a season!
Just as well, we needed something to sustain us over the next decade.

Been plenty of others down the years from Sailing to D’ream,, twas them I was on about…
Anyway we sign YNWA louder better and with more emotion ????????.

My sisters were at the do on Saturday for the 30th Anniversary of the Centenary Season.
As always,they were in good CQN company-thanks,folks-and reflecting on what was,for them,their first HISTORIC occasion. You know,one that isn’t a mere footnote of success but an I WAS THERE!!!! memory.
I’d been to a few by then,but I soon realised-my sisters have been to more than me since!

My second last cup final in Glasgow, there was guys round me saying “plenty of time plenty of time” before Macca scored:)) And it was absolute bedlam on the terraces of Hampden.
It was a season of high hopes and late goals..

Good news that Kriss Ajer has followed Scott Bain and signed up for 10 in a row, hopefully we can announce an extension to Tom Rogic’s contract and Odsonne Edouard signing permanent deal this week ahead of Cup Final.
Obviously if all of the above happens it’ll still pale into insignificance with Scott Arfield starting off the Stevie G revolution (copyright Jim White this morning) at Poundland!!!

Sorry my mistake. Yes they have tea-leafed quite a few of our’s most notably The Fields of Athenry. Personally, they can keep YNWA – they did it first so it’s their’s. I’m surprised they haven’t stolen Sunshine on Leith from the hibbees. Now there’s a decent football song and nobody, not even us, could improve on the Hibbees’ rendition.
