Welcome back from your flounce GFTB.βΊ
I’m honoured to be part of your return.
I will hold my hands up when I posted i never saw Sevcos implosion, I’ve never been more happier to be wrong, I’ve enjoyed every single drop point along the way.
I didn’t for see a monumental cock up by Gerrard, i knew my prediction was bust after their very first defeat.
This was my post after the Hearts match back in January, not one other poster agreed with me, so I’m claiming that I quickly corrected my error. Here it is.
SID on 26TH JANUARY 2020 9:28 PM
I thought Gerrards interview was very interesting and surprised their hasnβt been more comments on it.
This was Sevcos first league defeat since losing to us at the start of September.
I think 9 out of 10 managers would have said. We werenβt at our best today but we still created some excellent chances. This was our first league defeat since September, we were missing key players at a difficult venue, my players have been excellent for months, hopefully weβll now go on another excellent run.
For him however, to slate his players, after one game, question their bottle and most importantly distance himself from his players is huge, a real gamble.
He has laid down the gauntlet and is now publicly questioning his players bottle. By saying he doesnβt know if they have the bottle, he is setting the narrative that if they fail its because the players donβt have the bottle and is nothing to do with him. If I was a player Iβd now think the players were now separate from the manager, Iβd be raging, where is his responsibility.
Itβs a bit like, when we win the manager and the players are great but when we lose its the players fault, they have no bottle, not the managerβs fault.
Very dangerous gamble imo that could easily backfire. Could this prove costly?
Just a temporary error GFTB which i quickly changed my mind, their manager torpedoed the dressing room morale, school boy error.
Hope your good, let’s hope we finish as far ahead as possible, i think their is no way back for Gerrard, if he’s still in charge next season that is good for Celtic, he’s dead man walking now imo. HH
Just back from Mass. No Holy Water. No sign of peace. No communion on the tongue (not that I did anyway). Don’t touch your face, nose, eyes etc… If you want to cough or sneeze cover your mouth/nose. (Don’t worry about the conflict with the previous statement.)
After Mass, don’t shake hands with others etc…
If you are unwell, the Sunday obligation is removed, pray to the Lord for Spiritual Communion instead.
Some are sensible precautions. Some are a given – standard hygienic practices etc…
Greeting others…. ?
Look around the church, people rub their eyes, scratch their nose/head etc… without a thought.
Immediately after Mass, a young lass greeted a family member with a kiss on the cheek. A natural and routine greeting. What is one to do?
This is all getting way out of (sterilised) hand….

Hopefully you noticed I also ridiculed myself when the Huns first came back into the same league as the current champions I did mention they might make the top 6… I suppose when we wrote our daft thoughts down in words we sort of need to be laughed at when some other eijit actually reads or even remembers what nonsense we type :-) although like yourself I would happily be wrong for the Hun to always be shoite …. :-)

Good morning CQN from a dry but overcast Garngad
Another professional performance yesterday and 5 goals as well.
Although I want 2 up top next week i realise the need to snuff out there midfield. So I also want 5 across the middle now is that a 3-5-2 or do we go 4-5-1?
Then I am asking myself why sacrifice a good 2 up top partnership for 1 up top, but I am thinking we could sit and pick them off with 4-5-1 or do we just go for it 3-5-2.
The more cautious approach for me I think in 4-5-1, but it has to be the right players.

Gerry- I am old enough to remember Jinky being booed by the Hun Scotland support and Kenny being denied continues caps record while sitting on the bench on a meaningless gamble.
Have no doubt, the blazers are anti Celtic and, this is the one they wil, deny forever, institutionally anti Catholic- Scotland is moving on and growing up β the SFA is shrinking down.
i havent read fully back yet but the 6th Trophy was in Di Stefanois testiminal v Real Madrid…in Madrid, as we got a handsome Trophy for winning 1-0 ( lennox) and we did a lap of honour at the insistence of the Madrid fans who loved Wee Jinky.
I had that Matt macGinn single for decades.
