I clicked onto the NEW club’s site to confirm their reaction. As well as complaining about a joke [it wouldn’t hurt if it wasn’t true], they complain about the Daily Record, “the paper is riddled from top to bottom with an anti-Rangers bias”, just to prove they also have a sense of humour.
They also attempted to put a stake in the ground by affirming that Pinsent Masons, now representing Scotland’s champions and sole Champions League participants, did not report to the police that Craig Whyte has any connection to the club/company.
No one has ever suggested that Pinsent Masons made such a report. This is a bit like insisting that Ally McCoist will not manage the Champions League winners this season. Pinsent Masons were far too busy taking instructions from their top client’s chief executive, in his non-comedic role.

Valid point but we will have to play them sooner or later, and if your being honest you’ll admit it will make the SPFL more exciting. SB sales in their 1st season in the top league will increase – it’s a cert.
The social aspect is a concern, I certainly won’t be going out after the next game against them. The jails & a&e in glasgow will be fit to burst that night.

Personally, I think we shouldn’t leave them alone. I’d like to push them to the abyss and then nudge them over. They are everything we are not, they stand for everything we don’t. Step on their throats and watch them die again. That’s what I’d like Celtic fc and its fan base to do.
I also hope they never step foot in Celtic park again. A dirty, manky bunch of cheating barstewards. They have darkened our doorstep too many times already. Long may they squirm and die.

I agree with many of the things you’ve said but football is about rivalry, if we have no domestic competition we will suffer as well.
They had a chance to change their ‘No surrender’ mindset but unfortunately that hasn’t happened.
I went to a non-denom high school in Rutherglen from early 90’s onwards and as one of the 3 Celts in the entire year you can imagine the crap I had to put up with.
Reality is they will enter the SPFL with hope, and I want to see us trounce them.
