Can you imagine how a formal complaint about the comment ‘Rory Bremner can pretend to be Tony Blair’ would be composed?
‘Dear SFA, a rude man’s joke hurt our feelings. Tell him straight, no more jokes!’
I clicked onto the NEW club’s site to confirm their reaction. As well as complaining about a joke [it wouldn’t hurt if it wasn’t true], they complain about the Daily Record, “the paper is riddled from top to bottom with an anti-Rangers bias”, just to prove they also have a sense of humour.
They also attempted to put a stake in the ground by affirming that Pinsent Masons, now representing Scotland’s champions and sole Champions League participants, did not report to the police that Craig Whyte has any connection to the club/company.
No one has ever suggested that Pinsent Masons made such a report. This is a bit like insisting that Ally McCoist will not manage the Champions League winners this season. Pinsent Masons were far too busy taking instructions from their top client’s chief executive, in his non-comedic role.
What a laugh!

As opposed to your countless endless drudgery to protect the party out of blind loyalty at best I’d say trying to be optimistic about the future at 22 should be something worth while rather than accepting your lot and being happy as being kept.
A Labour supporter who is disillusioned with the party and who says so clearly can see through nonsense peddled by supposedly older and wiser counterparts is worth more than a blind follower like you who offers no vision of anything better but instead defends the indefensible by throwing out the same excuses the party spin doctors do when they get criticized.
I wonder if they’ve found Anas Sarwar or if he’s turned up to his offices since Tuesday to face questions from his local constituents or is he off saving the world somewhere else? the protest funnily enough never made it onto the TV. How very unusual.
Where were all the others? Have the spin doctors released their excuses yet or haven’t they passed that on to the apologists?
Maybe they were off looking for poetry in the eyes of a puppy.

Every football fan in Scotland should be delighted with Peter Lawwell’s very clever and important comment?
Especially those of honest fans of Clydebank (2002), Airdrie (2002) and Gretna (2008) who talk with pride about their recent football successes as new entities. Junior internationalists for example in Clydebank’s case.
Tom English and Keith Jackson could hardly string two sensible words together in their awful contributions on Radio Scotland tonight because they wanted to argue the “same club” line.
Next week Kenny McIntyre, let’s have 5 minutes from your panel on why black is in fact white.
Or, here’s an idea… you could stop insulting my intelligence.
I know it’s late CQN, but in recently catching up with the huge efforts on Resolution 12 being incorporated into the formal processes at Celtic FC, I have to say a massive well done to all. What an achievement!
Guys so that you understand the licence issue.
It is argued that UEFA do not rescind licences in the current season and that what they do in the event of wrongdoing is to sanction the club concerned in subsequent tournaments.
Further, we are also looking for instances of when and how any such wrongdoing is reported by the national associations.

‘A Labour supporter who is disillusioned with the party’
####
Of course he is.
And it’s just a coincidence that every post on his blog could have been written from an SNP briefing sheet.
I’m not sure whether you’re being naive or dishonest.
I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and suggest it might be both.

Jackson’s just a hurting hun who knows the truth but can’t face it.
English I can’t fathom. He’s not stupid but chooses the path of least resistance. I suppose it’s the commercially expedient thing to do.
Fair play to Spiers he’s unequivocal that it’s a new club albeit that he thinks it should somehow be credited with the old club’s trophies.
All it will take is an inspired population, those people who turned their back on party politics and voting, if they turn up on the polling day, they can shape a new future for everyone in this country and really effect change. A high tide that will wash this stain away.
Emma Lazarus.
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lighting, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbour that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
Hail Hail.

Thanks, now you’ve proven beyond all reasonable doubt that hating the SNP is the true motivation behind everything you say and write and it has hee haw to do with what is right and what is wrong.
I just wanted to be sure.
You like the rest of your buddies have only one motivation – get the SNP for anything and everything because they took away your devolution baby.
Your comments today and trotting out the same excuses of Labour spin doctors (assuming you aren’t one in your spare time) prove without a shadow of a doubt that it isn’t about policy, it’s about trashing the SNP.
I just wanted to be sure and now I know you cannot be taken seriously.
Thanks
Canamalar now that your helping the board of our magnificent club your owed a few apologies. Btw trust is earned both ways.

Well put, but one problem the old club’s trophies have been sold/pawned/melted down ( select appropriate ).

This topic was posted on here, as it was on various other sites, as part of a concerted effort by cyber gnats to push the SNP line that the only reason the Bedroom tax wasn’t defeated was because Labour MPs didn’t turn up to vote.
It’s a piece of nonsense and was quickly shown to be such.
I appreciate your frustration, but please don’t try to treat us as idiots.

abbot- English & Jackson are releasing a version of the old Los Bravos hit- “Black is White”
*hate tae be pedantic but it was “black is black…I want my baby back”.
Eddie..,
I think this could be exactly what we are looking for
Auldheid and BRTH can probably advise better
European football’s governing body added that the Qatari-owned La Liga club could be banned for a second season within the next four years if it misses a March 31 deadline to pay its debts.
Uefa announced the sanctions Friday, one day after Málaga were drawn to play Porto in the Champions League last-16 knockout round.
A statement on the Uefa website revealed that the club will be banned from the next European tournament it qualifies for within the next four years, though if they fail to reach either the Champions or Europa League within this period then the sanction expires.
“The club is excluded from participating in the next Uefa club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next four seasons,” a statement said.
“In addition, Málaga will be excluded from a subsequent Uefa competition for which it would otherwise qualify (in the next four seasons) if it does not prove, by 31 March 2013, that it has no overdue payables towards football clubs or towards employees and/or social/tax authorities, in accordance with the Uefa Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.”
Fair play to Spiers, reluctantly tells the truth in a roundabout sort of way- new club, end of.
Another thing, all this talk of mayhem if Celtic draw Sevco in the Cup. Nobody is saying where the mayhem will come from, but maybe that is too obvious an answer as it sure ain’t going to be from us.

Good evening all
I see from the lack of some of the “old guard” on this hallowed site, that they are believing what I have for some time. The amount of Highly Intellectual, Very Intellectual, Supremely Expert and Very Expert posters on here make the “ordinary” fan seem quite inadequate, which I certainly do in such esteemed company. BRTH hit the nail on the head with his observation of this blog earlier. A good summing up IMHO.
No need, anyone to respond, as I am off to bed, but will keep lurking and occasionally posting, why, because I love this site. Night Night Timland.

Also, did we no get a bye recently because a clubs license was pulled ?
Draw Sevco in the Cup?-no probs-Let the Club programme feature them as the lower league entity they are-trust it will-No Welcome back Rangers-no old firm C##P!-beat them and move on.
How much transfer fee dosh did the same club get for Flecky and Naisy?
Come on Tom English… if it looks like a dodo, walks like a dodo, plays football like a new dodo…
