Dedryck after his MVP performance and Craig

1282

Appropriate appreciation is due to Dedryk Boyata for his MVP performance on Wednesday. He scored the goal that won the points, could have scored more and made the most impressive defensive intervention of the game.

If scouts were in the Celtic Park stand watching, he did all he could to entice an offer, but a sample size of one game is not enough to validate a change in form for me.

Brendan has a big selection decision to make for Hearts on Sunday. You could argue he’s got the best from Patrick Roberts by bringing him on as a substitute in Celtic’s last four games, the most recent three of which the player considerably lifted the Celtic performance. Patrick will be wondering what he needs to do to get a start.

Chelsea want to sign Craig Gordon? No surprise there, they did sign Magnus Hedman a year after he left Celtic, after all. Craig is playing well and a reliable cog in an effective defensive wheel. But you know me. This far off the qualifiers, it’s all about the price as far as I’m concerned.

Everyone has a price, to think otherwise is to deny the future exists.

Appropriately enough the end of Badas great post just about sums it up…”they’re there and they’re always there”.

Don’t give a flying what anyone thinks the Tommy Supper and the presentation on the Celtic way tomorrow. ……We are who we are.

O G Rafferty, the racist behaviour of some Everton fans really was an eye opener.

I agree about the only Everton game I wanted them to win , after attending one of their games was against that Rapid shower.

As an aside the night after they beat Rapid, my pals and I had the privilege of seeing the Clash play at Duke’s pub near the Kelvin Hall. A marvellous two nights.

K works in lounge 2 at paradise , we’ve went from a 5 season book family to zero in 2 years , never seen that coming

The main thing is progress on the field of play , if we could unearth a central defender like we have in KT and younger version of lustig i think we could do something in Europe ….things are looking good .;)

  7. Their there and their always there is my top all time Celtic moment in my life.

I had the privilege of being there. Tommy was and will always be my all time Celtic Hero. I had the privilege of attending what was to have been the last ever Tommy Burns Supper in 2009. Pleasantly surprised it was staged this year, especially as the Herriot Watt Ghuys were involved and jointly compared the night.

Gordon Strachan was funny, he was more descriptive of the garage boss and it was funny to hear it said rather than read the post you put up.

Peter the Pointer was asked what he said in the huddle…I’ll not repeat it here as it was not mentioned in the report you posted. What was said last night stays there and I would definitely get murderated if I did…:)

Great to see Rosemary and Tommy’s Daughters and Son there also.

Best Book I possess ‘Twists n Turns’, signed by Tommy on my Birthday at Celtic Park on 18/08/1994…

    Keep the Faith!

My sis who is Celtic daft told me at neerday when we were having a swally that I took her to her first cup final in 1985. The supporters bus let her on for nothing and the polis opened the gates to avoid a disaster that day. We got in for nothing again. Clydebank Tim Kevin Gallacher tried to spoil her day but Frank and Davie had other ideas.
