It is nonsense to talk about Hampden Hoodoos, Celtic’s five defeats there since Neil Lennon became manager have been a result of poor performances, not superstition (fighting the urge to mention two last minute penalty decisions). Celtic were unquestionably the stronger team on four of those five occasions, arguably all five, but they have been tactically out-thought at the national stadium time after time.
We are vastly stronger than Dundee United but once the whistle goes tomorrow, unless we can match them for hunger, arrest the defensive lapses which have blighted us all season, and find the key to breakdown what will be a tight defence, there is no reason to believe the outcome will be any different than when we faced a weaker St Mirren.
Shortly before that St Mirren defeat I said we were not playing consistently to win the treble we were short odds for. Consistency hasn’t improved much since, which is why you are hearing talk coming out of Lennoxtown about this being the biggest game of the season.
It’s double time….

THE EXILED TIM
He’s just been interviewed on BBC. They actually asked him the question. He wasn’t happy – just batted it away.
Sevcovian behaviour!!
I’ve cheered every missed putt tonight!

Doc
It would appear that rules are for fools
I thought the strict rules of golf were in tablets of stone,a real shame.

Just in the door after a few beers with my wee brother, I’ve not caught up with all the info but here goes.
The “internal ” investigation at ibrokes is to be expected let’s be honest what else was there available to them? Green has them hog tied, the MSM would have you believe Walter was on the brink. What’s changed Walter?
They are dead in the water.
Dead
Turned on the TV and the first thing I saw was Woods at the Masters, I love my golf, I’m not very good,to be honest I’m not good at all, but anyone and I mean anyone who plays golf will be appalled by -2 decision
Tiger:
You know

You Sevcoed.
I hope you can live with that further tarnish on your name.
TET – Dare say you wouldn’t be saying that if ya had a few quid on the Tiger! :p

Walking back to shawlands ten feet tall….how good is this Celtic top with the centenary cross.
Happy glow.
Still got that top.
Bit tighter. Which means I must be a wee bit wider than I used to be,’cos I definitely know that top hasn’t shrunk.

I have been a golfer all my life, and one thing it taught me was, if you cheat, you are only cheating yourself.
maybe the huns should have taken a leaf out of that book >}
Eldrik has enough money not to care about anything, he has dished out squilions to his Mrs, and is making more.

I gave up the golf many years ago
however i keep my clubs in good nick.
I now recall the incident at Hampden 85.
Thanks to you and the bros.
Spent many a happy a night in the Brezhnev suite.

“Woods avoided disqualification on the basis the rules committee had been made aware of the incident, studied it and viewed it no infringement while he was still on the course.”
http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2013/apr/13/tiger-woods-masters-nick-faldo?INTCMP=ILCNETTXT3487
Which begs the question? Why the subsequent decision to penalise him? – Porkies somewhere. Designed to let him off the disqualification hook.
If you accept Woods gained a stroke from his infraction, the penalty amounts to one stroke.
The PGA and Woods are digging themselves an ever deepening hole.

His odds are always so bad, I never have a bet on him.
And I would, golf has always prided itself on it’s honesty.
A long way back imo.

HH and good night Amigos!
And for anyone that is more interested in football than…..gowf……
League reconstruction vote.
Ross County’s view – after a fan’s poll……quote / unquote the chairman.
“I don’t see why we can’t take the good bits from the proposals.
My big concern is for the First Division clubs, because I know what it’s like to be there.
There is a lot of good in the current proposals, and I don’t see why we can’t distribute a fairer share of the money now to the First Division.
I would do that right now.
I think most fans would be happy to accept a play off place along with the one up one down.”
And eff what Sevco thinks.

When woods ( not gonna use any other name for him now) made his gesture at the ryder cup I felt he halved the hole to show he was a sportsman.
Today. . As you say.. money was not the issue
He shoulda conceded and moved on with a pat on the back
The opposite now stands.. and golf loses its image of fair play
Well chief,at least yer honest.
Did woods gain a sporting advantage. LNS
Doc is Neil Lennon , posted the pics from last weeks FAC rally on CQN Facebook page.
TBJ
It was a minor infraction and gave Tiger
little advantage.
Yet i agree the game of golf has somehow
been diminished today.
I will ask again
I have a pic in an e mail, and I want to post it.
How do I go about it, without getting another yellow card ????
Woods team can now argue he would be in breach of contract and subject to a disciplinary if he chucked it now.
16 roads
Aye, honesty has cost me big time, but, if you can’t be true to yersel……
HH
If we are being honest
golf is nothing without Tiger Woods.
Last chance
He obviously took advice from his legal team, and they decided that muney was more important that integrity.
Golf will have a hard time cos of this imo.
Now where have I heard that before ?
Night night timland I got snedeker at 40/1 so tiger…. cya
gowf…goodnight.
Tiger is the best golf player
there ever was.
Unfortunately he is not that good a person.
If Craigy boy has the deeds stalling on paying off Chuck his shares and his salary might be a better option for whats left of Sevco
No wonder Chuck looked like a dead man walking today
He could end up with nothing

…………………….
it would be Armageddom without Woods.
He adds 60% to the TV audience figures I hear.
THE EXILED TIM – Fair play to ye.
A lot of folk have backed that comedian Woods though, and i will always be on the side of the punter.
Goodnight and good luck to all Celtic supporters.
A double for the Celtic, and a treble for the wee Reds would be brilliant.E
