Let’s be clear about this, footballers taking a lap of honour are not liable for hooliganism. You know this and Police Scotland know it. Forcing football hooligans to stay behind after a game and watch opponents celebrate, as happened when Newco visited Celtic Park earlier this season, was a poorly thought out police decision, but the police are not liable for hooliganism either.
The match superintendent’s report, made available under Freedom of Information, illustrates that forcing 800 losers watch 59,011 people celebrate is something that should have been considered prior to the match being allowed to proceed with only 800 away fans.
Losing fans at this fixture should be allowed to leave the stadium at full time. If this cannot be accommodated with away fans getting such a small area of the stadium, away fans should be given an appropriate section of the stadium and egress areas.
This is a new problem and you know who caused it. Give away fans appropriate egress at both stadiums and the problem goes away.
And while we’re discussing the matter, running headlines which justify hooliganism is grossly irresponsible. You also know who staged this for the newspaper.
This is why we need to be relentless. We need to win the League Cup and we need to rattle through the league in December. Fight fire will irresistible football success.

Unless the different factions are telling porkies , then there is no way she will get the votes required to have the ” deal ” approved. A deal nobody wants except the EC.

Over Christmas , a new PM will be chosen with a backdrop of squealing from those wishing a new referendum which surely cannot happen. Corbyn will continue to sit on the fence while hoping that the tide of public opinion will push him in whatever direction would seem to be to his political advantage.
At the end of the day , hopefully Boris or preferably Jacob , but an avowed Brexiteer , will be chosen and the end result will be ” No deal ” in spite of the protestations of the EC and the dire warnings of those who didn`t want Brexit in the first place.

The above is my reason for adopting a positive attitude on CQN and any other `public` places.
In private, I will question what SEEMS like a lack of courage from the Board on certain issues. In public, I will talk of their PROVEN strengths.

Agree 100% with posts yesterday, although much as I would prefer Celtic not taking any tickets, i’m afraid they get a backlash fom Celtic fans. It is a no win situation. There is a serious game being played with your “deid team” and the media and institutions to get a reaction from Celtic Fc. Much as I would like Board to react we would get hammered. This is a long game and as long as we continue to batter them on the playing field their support will destroy them. We are in a good place especially financially and can only be destroyed by our own .
