If you thumb through the pages of the Celtic Quick News comments section you’ll find a couple of overlapping areas of indifferent form being reported. One for Beram Kayal and one for the team as a whole. You’ll also note several contributors commenting that Beram’s form improved after his new contract was signed, settling speculation surrounding the player.
It may be coincidental that Beram’s form seemed to pick up after his future was settled but the fact that this happened a few days after the pivotal 3-3 draw at Kilmarnock suggests a whole lot of what has been going right at Celtic was linked to the Israeli’s form in this crucial central midfield area.
Neil Lennon has a huge tactical decision to make. Get it wrong and he will not be able to replicate the impressive run of 10 consecutive wins. Before making a decision, a good place to research would be videos of Celtic’s run up to and including that Kilmarnock game. Knowing some of the things to avoid is a good start.

“A team won 35-0 the same day Bon Accord scored 36
“do you think sportscene had to be extended that night”
Five minutes highlights from each game and 20 minutes talking about Rangers.
When nets were first introduced there was much joy and merriment down at the ole Celtic gazebo.
TBB
In those days every team played 5 at the back, 2 FBs (R&L) and 3 Half Backs (L,C & R) and 5 forwards (OR, IR CF IL & OL)

I think you meant to say:
When fishnets were first introduced there was much joy and merriment down at the ole Celtic gazebo.

Trust you to remember that :¬)
BTW Bon Accord only had 4 at the back that day, perhaps a tactical error in retrospect.
RRC
Dammit.
Knew that ticker tape machine was a waste of money.

So the SPL can bring into being any club if feels like and the SFA have to swallow it? Is that definitiely the position?

Seven Fishes Four Steaks:
As the true measure of a geek has been redefined by that man, I think we have to ask whether or not any of the guys on this site:
1) Owns a gizmo which measures the exact temperature of the kettle
2) Has DVD’s of him/herself doing karaoke
3) Makes his/her own “fermented lentil bread”
4) Has memorised an entire Walt Whitman poem or, indeed, any poem
Tick all those boxes and I would say yes, we have our own uber geeks who should be carefully monitored lol.
Bon Accord had not introduced nets but they had definitely introduced a sieve.
You won’t get a better offer than £6 mil for Hooper IMO.Timing not great but PL would take that if it’s true.Neil would only agree with it if he got about £4 mil to replace him.Posted recently about Hoopers overall contribution in recent weeks.Kayal berating him the whole 2nd half v the huns to work their back 4,and close them down.Tin hat on.
Sondy up in the Abadeen bookies back in them days …….
can ah huv a correct score treble ma man
Arbroath to win 36-0
Dundee Harp 35-0
Huns 1-0 with a penalty.
Bon Accord’s sectarian ‘ginger’ only policy did them no good.
Bon Accord (Aberdeen area) LOST 36-0 ( to Arbroath) . The team that lost 35-0 that day were also from the Aberdeen area and the winning team were also from the Dundee area ( as is Arbroath). A friend of mind suggested that perhaps the fixtures had got mixed up!

That formation was still being played to great effect by Stenhouse thistle under 10’s round about 1976 !
Amir Khan already talking about fighting Mayweather ahead of the Peterson rematch. It is one of Khans biggest failings. He thinks he is in the same class as Mayweather and Pacquiao
They would both dismiss him within 8 rounds
One thing about the hun,the ole Corinthian
spirit shining through as usual.

SFA: No Rangers breach
Share
13 Jan 2012
THE SFA today dismissed suggestions they broke any rules when they awarded Rangers a club licence last year.
Under current Uefa legislation, clubs can only receive a licence if they have no tax debt.
SFA chief executive Stewart Regan was given a petition with 1200 signatures on it as people queried whether rules had been breached.
“We are satisfied Rangers met the necessary criteria,” said an SFA spokesman. “Given the club’s ongoing discussions with HMRC, this situation did not constitute a ‘payable overdue to tax authorities’ at the point of decision in 2011. Uefa is fully aware of the decision and the position taken.”

Sandaza could sign a ‘pre-contract’ with the Huns and cancel it at a moments notice. They are not legally binding as his agent should know
Imo he will go to the Championship
Rangers have opened discussions with Sone Aluko about him offering Sandaza a pre contract agreement.
Talks are ongoing but Rangers are believed to be holding out for a fee.
TMWTL, 8 rounds? They could take khan out in whatever round they wanted. The only way khan can beat them is by waiting years until both are way over the hill. Khan had beating Barrera on his record. Barrera in his prime wouldhave played with khan.

Ten Men-Lomas’ should tell him to get wired in, as he could at least double anything the huns offer him.
A wee quiz question for the blog

Kibera Celtic promoted to Kenya’s elite league
By: Newsroom Staff on 13 Jan, 2012 17:06
FOLLOWING on from the news this week that Celtic have forged a new partnership with Kibera Celtic, the Kenyan football team received further great news today (Friday) with confirmation of their promotion to the Kenyan Division One.
A letter from the Kenyan Football Federation confirmed their new status. The leagues in Kenya are being organised to ensure they are financially stable, and Kibera Celtic will be a welcome addition to the elite league.
And the Kibera Celts confirmed that Celtic’s involvement and partnership had played a massive role in helping the team to gain promotion.
Celtic´s Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama, who was today named SPL Young Player of the Month, said: “Since coming to the club, it is very clear to me that charity and community is what Celtic stands for.
“Celtic has such a wonderful history of helping others in need and I’m honoured that the club, together with many others will be doing so much work in my country to assist so many people.”
And Chief Executive Peter Lawwell added: “The work which has gone into developing Kibera Celtic is magnificent and all those involved should be applauded – it is a club and an initiative which we are delighted to support.
“Celtic´s charitable origins mean we will always be much more than a football club and it is important to Celtic to help as many good causes as we can, both at home and abroad.”

Is that just to cover the tax?
i have a dream..one day..big Victor as captain …no one else in the team just Victor! :)
notthebus at 17:14
That’s that settled then, eh?
That’s pretty much what you would expect them to come out with. Although there is nothing on their site about it, that I can see anyway.
If there are no clubs going to challenge the SFA for proof, nothing will happen.
Meanwhile at a meeting not so far away….
Sandazza…”So mister sally, about the signing on fee £100k that is agreed, yes”
WFPLG…”aye son sounds ok tae me,could we huv it in twenties please!”

Kibera celtic T shirts are available from CaféPress – they are great quality and not particularly expensive.
Additionally they are in support of a great cause.
I wear one regularly – it looks the mutt’s.
