Reason to enjoy Wednesday night number 67

Reason to enjoy Wednesday night number 67: Victor Wanyama didn’t get booked.

21-year-old Victor is a fabulous talent but he has also been a tad rash in his earlier Champions League outings this season.  One more yellow card will bring a suspension but his timing, and more importantly, his concentration, on Wednesday was excellent. This is a player maturing; more to come.

The 1254125 charity cycle left Lurgan this morning for Belfast port where they caught a ferry to Cairnryan. After they set wheel on Scotland they have a 37 mile cycle to Maybole, 7 miles of which is uphill, one of the most difficult parts of the endeavour.

They are people with the spirit of this club pumping through their veins right now. Check out their everyclick page for more information.

Oh I don’t know I’m sure he would look good on a white charger heading down the Gallowgate!!

  3. Just walked down to my mates there and had a run in with 2 steamin’ huns. My ‘crime’? Wearing a green skip-cap. It actually says Australia and has a kangaroo on it! Fortunately nothing came of it as I stood my ground and they resorted to shouting filth from a safe distance.

Remind me why I want them and theirs gone?

Ps Summa beware next time you’re over and don’t get your digiridoo out in public :-)

    Green oak…,

I don’t think there was an age of consent for boys in those days

  7. That James Arthur is good, it’s a pity he decided to tweet a while back of his love for a dead club and then his support for Barca on Wednesday.

Rod Stewart on Graham Norton promoting the Celtic family .. Wonderful..

He gets the spirituality of paradise..

In that vein I ll share my special feeling about our stadium..

I sit down in 102 now..But When we were first renovated thanks to Fergus-the first few years I sat in the JOCK STEIN upper..with great people & now great memories.. Nakas free kick v Man U coming right at us..

Anyway, for years the seat next to me up there was ALWAYS empty.. Always. I enquired after it and was told it was a season holder .. As one of my mates wanted to move beside me.

However it remained empty .. One day out of nowhere we re playing a game .. I felt that sitting next to me in this empty seat was my dad..

I m pushing 50.. My dad died when I was 2 WEEKS old. I never met him, let alone went to paradise with him. It was always a dream I had that my dad would take me to a Celtic game..obviously this never happened.

Suddenly in that moment, I was SO calm, SO happy..

Honestly. I’m not mad. Just sharing a genuine feeling of the magic of Celtic Park and a reason it’s so special to me..

Now down in 102, my 4 kids get chances to come to the games with me. We ve 2 seats..

As it should be.. Passed on. The Celtic tradition.

It was said more eloquently this week. Strange things happen at Celtic Park.

    We are unique. A family..

Tomorrow lets show the world we are the greatest family ..

    Can see Louie outing him.

“James lets hope the whole Rangers support get behind you and vote for you tonight”
