My point earlier was that they had a 7.15pm ko. TV and managed 27000 supporters.
We will not be on TV and have a more reasonable ko time and will probably get less.
My concern is that their support MAY have a greater hunger and desire than ours who some MIGHT suggest are a bit spoilt and expectant.
This, combined with the outrageous media bias in pre promoting ( see last night in sky sports and all day today on radio Clyde ) their agenda, might give them a very strong advantage when they do emerge in the top flight in the next few years.
I hope our support does get out there tomorrow and show the team that this competition does really matter to us too.
Some might say we have 4 in 12 days at CP, which I understand however the following 4 weeks we only have 1 at home so it balances out.
Just wish that when Certain People on CQN are decrying Scotland as a racist sectarian country the would look at people like Nevin, PATRICK nevin..Hating CELTIC aint always about Racism or Secterianism…as nevin i think proves…

The league cup was a major tournament for them.
To us it is irrelevant no matter how we market or price it. It is only a part of the cog that the treble consists of that gives it any credence whatsoever.
Personally I would play a youth or experimental team. This competition has run its course for big teams and our crowd will reflect this fact.

Enjoyed the new Huns game tonight. They were caught out big time by the jump in class. Was great to watch the attempts at slick passing and showboating flounder as they found themselves up against a premier league team.

Agreed, this was their cup final and a chance to show the rest of scotland they ‘were back’. Having said that, for a 3 year old team to only be cuffed 3-1 by premiership opponents isn’t too shabby.

The reason that Nevin acts as he does is because he knows he won’t get a job in the media in Scotland if he were honest. It’s because of the racism/sectarianism. If you don’t think Scotland is a racist sectarian country you have:
1. had a sheltered upbringing
2. Are completely oblivious of the politics and politicians running the state.
3. Pat Nevin likes soup.
