Social cost of Scots exclusion

1522

You want to know the real social cost of Scottish football’s exclusion from the league structure England and Wales share?  It’s the lack of pitches, nets, strips, balls and coaching certifications that the £1bn bounty, promised by the Barclay’s Premier League last night to the grassroots game.

£1bn to the grassroots is a huge sum.  It dwarfs what taxpayers can afford and will provide a series of benefits our kids and amateur players are denied.

If we’re part of the UK, we should be part of the UK’s commercial opportunities.  Every youth team in the land are excluded because of the actions of a cartel.

What are the SFA doing about it?  Nothing.  Their plans don’t seem to require world-class youth facilities.

Henk, Salve salve;- Irish whiskey and scotch whisky, main difference is Irish is triple stilled whereas Scotch is double stilled. There are eceptions like Cragganmore which is triple stilled and Benrinnes which is believe it or not 2 1/2 stilled these are used as control malts for reference . I am not a fan of whiskey but am partial to a nice malt, having a Scapa 16 YO at the moment and was exceedingly jealous of A Cieler Gone of Rust last night with his Casker of Linkwood which is an exceptional malt.
