With Brendan, there’s a belief

620

‘No one said it was easy.’ How true. When I heard the Celtic line-up I responded, “Would take a 1-0 right now”. No strikers and a new central defensive pairing is not the way to start an important game.

A couple of years ago, you would have an ominous feeling right now, but with Brendan, there’s a belief that we will be prepared in Trondheim. We need to put the ball in the net. Even if we concede first, subsequently putting the ball in the net resolves a lot of issues.

My expectation is that we saw the best of Rosenborg last night. Celtic were clearly well below their best. When the teams meet again Celtic will be one week fitter, and I expect personnel changes.

For so long we missed the kind of football that knots your stomach. This one is hugely important. Enjoy the tension!

It’s as good a story as some of the stuff on here :))

Starry – spot on with that one – I know the chap who was called to repair the said doll after two of our senior players did a tug of war with it.

Talking about Stoke – their chairman was on the radio getting it big time from the fans for the lack of signings – mind you getting £20m+ for arnovitch(sp) is crazy money.

‘Celtic are playing the long game here.’

    ###

Which, conveniently, looks just the same as doing nothing.

My money is on them doing nothing.

  4. CELTIC MAC @ 7:15 PM,

You know it interested me that the SPFL published the “advice” so fully and openly.

Now this could just have been to give the notion of a Frank and Open approach.

They are expecting a Challenge they say, so maybe it was to deter these.

But let’s face it, all it did was to confirm what a lot of us Expected. The advice was given on questions that were fabricated to ensure the desired outcome.

So here’s a thot, when the SPFL decided to publish the advice, the QC understood that quite a few Lawyers, including Nimmo-Smith and Rod McKenzie, had come under a lot of criticism for what looks like nonsense because folk didn’t understand the Brief.

So Gerry took the view, you can publish my advice, but only in the context of the full Q&A that the advice was given on.

Not just the summary… Could also be the Reason for the SFA Statement’s Brevity, if indeed they’re talking about the same advice.

    Hail Hail

    That one?

    Priceless

The game is shot to pieces now, apart from Celtic I rarely watch football now.

I hate the CL, a total sham and again apart from Celtic I never watch it.

I used to like English football when I lived down there, had some cracking days at London football, Charlton, Palace, Fulham and more often at Highbury, QPR was decent , the football was in proportion but now every shite team in England can buy better players than Celtic, just no right:)

I could only bring myself to watch Wimbledon when they played at Plough Lane then Selhurst Park.

A team I never saw I don’t think so anyway, I went to Charlton quite a bit to watch Colin Walsh play, they loved him down there but Arsenal I guess I saw most living up by their ground. Initially I went home quite a lot but then the cost of living in London catches up with you and the trips home became less frequent.

My London years were the huns bent 9 so it was painful enough meeting stickies in London let alone being up the road..

  13. We’re looking at doing a live podcast next week to discuss the Supreme Court judgment, the SPFL / SFA and what is going to happen next.

Paul Dykes will host the show and we will have a panel of experts available to answer your questions.

We are looking at doing this over 2 hours.

The questions will be entirely up to you so long as they are on the subject matter and the usual CQN rules re no bad language etc will apply.

It’s an experiment so it may go badly wrong but we can only try!

Looking at some well informed and well known names to be on the panel. Everyone will use their CQN name and access will be through me.

Just email david@cqnpublishing.co.uk if you want to take part.

Oh and while Doncaster declared war the other day we are simply in the Phoney War period just now. Or from the earlier war, All Quiet on the Western Front.

Pretty much when I was there, bud. In Streatham, the pub had a heavy Ulster group as regulars. I got on really well with them, surprisingly. We just ripped the p… out of each other and got bevvied.

I recommend that to the UN,btw(!)

But there was one Scottish lad,wi hunnery dreeping right oot him. Gordon,as ugly as any hun you could imagine. He just never knew when to shut up. Though the Ulster lads usually got him told. I never thought I’d ever want to see his foul fizzog again, but you know,I reckon it might be a laugh!

  18. The SPFL statement said – “Come ahead Timmy!”

    Ye see,…the, SPFL / SFA / Orange / Masonic establishment….

being, shafted, year in, year out…

by, Celtic PLC and, Simple Simon like….

Ah mean, the PLC are so slippery that,….

they had to send oot, Brendan, the willing pawn,….

a tory property tycoon, to tell the GB that…..

“Celtic Park is not the place for politics ????”

Ah mean, one of the most, racist / bigoted, POLITICAL acts of the Scottish political Parliament, was conceived inside the Celtic Park, PLC Boardroom – The OBAF thingy, was rubber stamped inside, CELTIC PARK, Brendan, by those guislings who wheeled ‘you’ out to, Lord it over the banned soul of, Celtic Park, the peerless Green Brigade. Brendan, you know, hee haw aboot the Cellic, till you have lived in the shoes, for one week of, any of the bhoys or, girls of the, Green Brigade!

Brendan, if you don’t know the Parkheid JUNGLE Law….

then you know – hee haw !!!

The JUNGLE Jury has returned with its verdict,…..

    It reads,……

    Timdom, will ‘never’ be free….
