Well done to Tony Hamilton and his team at Celtic Charity as well as the 60,000 participants for a memorable weekend which confirmed the spirit and heritage of the club. It was great to see Martin O’Neill and Kenny Dalglish revel in, as well as so many of our more recent heroes, some of whom are aging better than others.
Credit also to the English Premier League players who turned up in such numbers, and who spent 85 minutes avoiding Bobo Balde, after Robert Pires ‘met’ the central defender early in yesterday’s game. For all the array of talent on show over the weekend to prize goes to Carlos Cuellar, who spent £11k at the charity auction in the Kerrydale Suite on Friday night, the biggest donor by some distance.
The wee guy from One Direction looked terrified from the moment he first flicked his hair on the touchline, and he was on the same team as Bobo. I’m sure he’ll recover quickly from his knock and enjoy telling the story for decades to come.
Henrik still has it, his movement was unmistakable but ‘Big Greenock’ looked like he was still 22.
The report by the Scottish Law Reporter yesterday that the Crown Office are in possession of material in which prosecutors refer to possible “discussions between former Police Officers employed by a media firm connected to Rangers FC and serving Police officers” moves the debate on recent well-publicised leaks onto a new level.
Charlotte Fakes has apparently been reported to police for inappropriately obtaining material. While this has yet to be established, the act of reporting the content as being inappropriately obtained, had the unintended consequence of confirming the authenticity of the material. All of which puts the content of said material under scrutiny.
Post-Leveson the media have been cautious on reporting Charlotte Fakes material without clear evidence that a crime had been committed by ‘victims’ of the leak. If the Crown Office have now acted, parts of the media still independent may be emboldened.
With Charlotte Fakes now as easy to find as Keyser Soze the direction of the police investigation will be difficult to predict.

All at the behest of Joao Havelange who was put into FIFA power by his good chum Adi Dassler (Adidas).
Havelange makes Ogilvie look a total novice in the corruption stakes.

i suppose there isn`t much difference moving from Rangers to Killie

Aye,the typo.
Many a discussion I’ve had with AWE NAW in this regard!
Never made a spelling mistake in my puff, but I never did Secretarial Studies at school,so that’s my excuse.
And I’m sticking to it!
All the very Best to Tom McLaughlin on his speedy recovery

Not that easy,this pedantry lark!
Any chance of TGCW joining us at the end of the month?
His contributions are missed.
I see R Tart had a 7/1 winner yesterday. One mount today Handsome Stranger 5 o clock at Brighton. Just saying like.
There is as much chance as the Scottish Polis charging someone over the alleged RTC leaks affairs as there is about the MSM actually reporting on it. Zero chance, Let’s face it
The gutter MSM don’t mention the shenanigans
The mighty impartial Beeb have today apologised for even mentioning the shenanigans
Even some on this site don’t want to hear or read about the shenanigans
Even our own club don’t dare speak of the shenanigans
There is no chance that the Polis (the guardians of all that is red white and blue) will ever jail someone over the shenanigans
That’s a fact by the way,
The huns are deid
Still saying it, more baws than the entire Scottish media put together will ever have
Siesta time. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Cathal-Got it 7/2 ,cheers.

“That would mean they are economic migrants (no problem if they bring something of value to the new country) and not refugees though.”
To be honest I don’t think it is ever that straightforward. I was stating what I would do. For example had I been a refugee from the Balkans conflict and I was shipped to northern Europe I would have continued to these Islands in an attempt to find work, improve my circumstances, and give myself the opportunity of a better life.
I have no problem with ‘economic migration’ – why should anyone settle for a rubbish life. We all want to get on and improve our lot – prohibiting people from trying to better their life is unacceptable.

OK if we’re spreading abuse around various nationalities, the US gets it next.
Reported on the BBC site:-
Arkansas police shot dead a 107 year old man who was confused and angry, brandishing a gun, after his family had talked to him about moving home.
Life is very cheap indeed to some.
I find it comical that people use ‘predictive text’ ( whatever that is) & then blame it for any spelling mistakes that appear in their posts.
I would not even know how to access this kind of new-fangled facility.

How many complains have the Zombies made after seeing Bishop printed on a Celtic shirt?

I shall ask him but he joined me at a small gathering on Saturday evening and may have used up all of his ‘out after dark’ tokens.
He was in good form though. He’d warned his 15 year old daughter that under no circumstances did he want to hear the phrase, “I’m bored!” at any point in the proceedings. So at about 22:00 when he found her moping at the top of the stairs and asked her what was the matter.
She replied, “I cannae say, I’m not allowed to use the phrase!”
Serves him right for having smart weans :-)

Indeed .
My addled ole bonce thinks that the start of that game was delayed due to the Polish team claiming that the pitch was too waterlogged to play football . The German team disagreed . The Referee agreed with the Germans.
The Germans won the game 1-0 [ Gerd Muller ]

Did you teach your weans to follow a full stop with c comma? :-)
………………………………..
Ha! Ha! I knew I shouldn’t have got involved. Neither sh sh sh should you :-)
If you mean the comma following the full stop when I used ” ie.,”, I don’t think that’s incorrect. What was incorrect was that I omitted to put a full stop after the ‘i’ as well. It should have read “i.e.,”. :-))

Ciaran & Gerrybhoy.
To call the author of that blog a scumbag is doing scumbags an injustice.
‘terry booed because he’s English?’
Where do you start with those eejits?
SoT
Yes, the game was delayed because the pitch was waterlogged. This may have badly affected the speedy Polish wingers.
The Germans won 1:0 after having a penalty saved by that “clown” (©Cloughie) Tomasewski. Zbyszek’s favourite player, Deyna, almost equalised in the dying seconds on two occasions.
Newcastle mad is exactly what the author of the blog is. For someone who portrays themselves as a die hard magpie, the person seems to devote a lot of their time and blog to running down our fans and club. A complete tool of a person. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Jeff “I’m not a bigot” Winters.

Having been taught by some of my colleagues, they already thought that was the case :-)
Noticed Alan Thompson is playing in Steve Harper’s Testimonial this week, real shame he wasn’t there yesterday.

You’re not alone, pal. The predictive text seems to be part of the package with the ole iPad. One minute you’re posting as fast as your wee digit can type, failing to see all warnings from said predictive text because you are caught up in the mega importance of what you are about to unleash on the blog. Next minute you have pressed ‘POST’ and when you read it, it bears no resemblance whatsoever to the magnum opus you have just dispatched to CQN. :-))

This site never fails to cheer me up.Every day they have some numpty on.The general topics are always, sectarian, anti Celtic, but the sheer ridiculousness of them are entertainingKnowing how much they hate everything I love,is always a wee wake up call to remind me to detest them and all they stand for even more. You never hear anything like the current debate on Aussie politics on here on that site. They are totally insular.Only bile and hatred directed at all things perceived anti hun.
We should embrace it.

Newcastle United – A club that is so loved by their fans that they couldn’t even fill their own ground for two of their greatest players when they played Celtic.

My favourite from the dark side is the suggestion that Carlos Cuellar be ‘invited’ to the Loudon to ‘explain’ his motivations behind agreeing to wear a Celtic top yesterday.
Comedy gold.
p.s. I’m a Lurker – not one of them.
Newcastle are a club who aspire to be everything Celtic are.
They are not even quarter of the way to achieving Celtic’s status.
In my personal EPL table of most disliked clubs, Newcastle would be a long long way from runaway leaders Chelsea at the top, every club has nutters with too much too say, including our own.
