  1. The Laddy McGeary- Maybe VB think Viva La Quinta Brigada is an IRA song??? That got a good airing tonight.

A clean bill of health, UEFA will laugh at any protest.

    PS- Hope you are well.

I have complete faith in our support. The people that are offended are offended by us in general. They need a different outlook on life lol

The reason we couldn’t get a hold of the ball was due to our system not being properly implemented.

They play in a league where exploiting space is crucial.

We are to far apart and not compact enough so we were ripe for picking.

We afford spl teams a lot of space but they are not good enough to exploit.

Filling gaps with extra men would not be necessary in a better implemented system no matter what formation you play.

Looks like we might be seeing the bhoy Blackman earlier than we thought, and got to admit I’m a bit excited at the prospect, but, if he’s sh*t* he’ll get dogs abuse believe you me :oD

If Atl M are indeed mid-table, ie, no 9 in their respective pussy league.

We should have indeed taken more off of them tonight.

If they stay at No9 when we face the Udinese, mibbes worth a wee punt of £9 on Sammy to score, espcially if odds are 9-1 or similar.

    Thanks for the kind wishes.

We’re all good thanks but need a nightly call from our young doctor to confirm she’s safely home from deepest, darkest Wishie:o)

Christmas shopping in town today with younger daughter. This strike has cost me big time!

    Take care mate.

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree on the second half performance, from my vantage point I saw a team that lost their fluidity and imagination.

Basic common sense dictates that when you replace a midfielder with a forward you’ve got more forwards waiting for a ball from midfield where there are less players.

Tonight we saw the result of such a move and from my perspective we competed in the first half and had midfielders and forwards linking up and running at the Atletico defence, in the second half I saw Celtic defenders pumping 60 yard passes to our static forwards who then attempted to control these 50/50 balls and then try to turn.

That my friend is where we differ, I want to see football with imagination and a little skill, should I want to see kick-and-run I’ll watch school kids.

Tonight was an opportunity for the Celtic players to continue being WINNERS. Tonight they became losers again and I find that hard to accept.

    FFM,

please dont misquote me I said “diddy” theres no reason to drag us into the gutter :oD))))

Oh and if those odd happen then I’m taking it, good shout.

    hail hail

  14. no IRA chanting whatsoever

any claim to the contrary is plain mendacity

bigots are offended by our very existence …feck them

  15. allthought the result went against us, at no time tonight did i feel we were outplayed.

i would say though poor Dave Ki did not have a good game, and most times when we were putting together some movement up front he totally missed the opporchncity to pass.

some raving about sammi also, didnt see it myself tonight either.

    oh well, onwards.

:)) (Don’t worry about the misnomer or whatever it be called. Very strange that several fholks address me with the same initials?!? But I usually recognise it in the context. Must be the double BB in mibbes, which we all wish were double D. :) My man boobs aren’t quite that big though.

  17. The Laddy McGeary- It’s only the hardiest of souls like EC67 that play in this kind of weather, I’m not ashamed to admit I’m a fair weather player.

I dont believe this, I think the key pads on my laptop have jumped around the keyboard because I have had to look for the following words together

PF Ayr, I agree with you 100%….!

That took me 10 minutes to type : )

    Hail Hail

BTW PAOK have given an absolute master class of how you defend as a team.

Absolute master class – who goes, who stays, who covers when one goes – putting your body on the line, team 1st, it has had everything.

This is where Uefa and me now disagree (as a former defender) I think defensive units like that display today is as good an art as the best pass and move teams.

Thrilling to watch them work in sync without having to check over shoulders, shout at each other etc

  20. murdochbhoy

I think you need a reality check buddy. We’re all disappointed with the result but one game does not make this team ‘losers’ as you refer to them. In 3 short weeks this young team have clawed themselves back into a title race which many, including our own supporters, had written them out of.

Tannadice on Sunday is our barometer not against teams that cam afford £35m for a striker. Winning on Sunday is what really matters and I hope that in your eyes our players will become winners again.

Your determination to be negative about Celtic aside for just now, why on earth would you misquote me 3+ times.

I never used the experssion “grow up” once in in my post.

I never used the experssion “asset management” once in my post.

The first is to imply I patronised you.

The second, well, doesn’t even fit in the context of what I said.

Why on earth would you misrepresent me in that post to such an extent, that a tabloid hack would be proud of, when all I did was counter your negative arguments with fair responses imo???

    Jury is out on you.

    Are you Bouncyboy?

  22. Good quality match tonight, AM best team Celtic have played this season

Thought our opponents deserved their win, superior technically, better athletes and intelligent players

    AM R/B was superb

We were fortunate second half, cut open easily at times big Fraser to the rescue

Young Matthews good going forward weak defensively, Big Dan poor and Ki was anonymous in open play

We have made progress in the competition since the debacle in Sion, we had a very tough group

Back to priority NO.1 SPL and Dundee Utd, who have a poor back four

First time for everything well done Neil superb after match press conference

Had to laugh at Murdo and his mates at the BBC having a go at about Neils after match views and honesty? try Irony Murdo et al

Apols for dragging you into the gutter with my misquoting. It seems that’s where I’m headed now as a victim of similar type attacks on my parlé.

Diddy misquote me, or diddy no?

As ah seem tae remember we were still getting our arses handed tae us back then by such illustrious teams as rosenborg.

if ye know yir history an all that but don’t let me take away from you slagging the team and me.

    disgraceful you are!!!!!!!

  25. Ah really love this, people have short fecking memories. We were nowhere in the late 80’s and all the 90’s in europe. We get a good run and all of a sudden we feel we should be entitled to something.

That crap sounds like the same they spout across the city and ahve had enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That team tried tonight and STILL there are some feckers not happy.

You want glory hunting then ‘support’ an epl team!
