Christie and the congested central mid

375

The creative central midfield position is heavily congested at Celtic. Rom Togic and Stuart Armstrong are both enjoying landmark seasons, leaving Ryan Christie feeding off injury scraps. It’s not ideal for a player with over 100 top flight appearances under his belt.

Four months at Aberdeen would be ideal for the player’s development, and would perhaps arrest Aberdeen’s slide this season.

I remember a pub on the North West side of Argyle St. And Union St. Had a bar like that, all pennies, McCawbers I think it was called back in the 70s, or it was called that later, not sure.

  3. Young Ryan didnt seem keen on a loan away last week in an interview, would love to see him do well for us but others know best.

Definitely a good player in the making. A loan move to get some games wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Not so sure I’d see him as being in competition with Armstrong though. Stuart is more of a box-to-box player.

McGregor gives you something different with his pass-and-move play. Sounds like Kouassi is more defensively minded.

We have a good mix in there.

I reckon Ryan is up against Callum McGregor for the second attacking mid position. Difficult for him,as Callum seems to have first dibs.

Funny enough my mates and me were arguing about Gamps a few wee ago. It changed names to McCawbers in 71,so I was just too young to drink in it. Aul Tony probably pulled in it.

Yes it may well have been given to Celtic by Belfast Celtic. As I said I thought the Bing Crosby strip a bit far fetched lol. Por cierto, my late Dad told me it was true :)

When you feel a bit better you should be taking legal advice as this matter

is for the courts, – no one is allowed to take life, not even a farmer

without proving clearly that his livestock were threatened.

Tried out my alignment theories on course today. Shot a seven under par , 43 Stableford points and triumphed in the ole Senior medal.

In all my years, this is first time I truly understood the pro’s instructions because I could recognise the fault that I had been continuously practising.

You don’t know me and I don’t know you but your news yesterday must be devastating, can’t begin to think how you and your family are feeling. Can honestly say my wee 19month Border Terrier called Hamish is very well trained but I wouldn’t trust him among farm animals, it’s a terrier thing I suppose. Some farmers are just too quick to shoot and kill family pets. You have my sympathy.

  21. Remember the Shamrock strip being worn on Pre-Season Open days at Celtic Park when the Probables played the Possibles, a wee bit before £1Million friendlies in far-off lands ;0)
