Griffiths has earned right to do what he likes on social media

295

Last night Leigh Griffiths ‘Liked’ a Twitter comment suggesting either he or Bayo were likely to leave the club following the arrival of Patryk Klimala.  What subsequently kicked off was sufficient for Leigh to delete his Twitter account.  The original comment may be valid, and Leigh’s reaction was certainly ill advised, but he, more than anyone in the squad, deserves some slack from the support.

Leigh Griffiths has earned the right to do pretty much whatever he likes on social media, within normal taste guidelines.  Since he arrived at Celtic six years ago, he has exceeded expectations, scored goals and been an important part of our story.  His interaction with fans and kids outside the stadium and at events is generous and increasingly rare.

He is also 29-years-old and naturally fit.  His story has a few chapters still to write.

Sounds great on the menu but I find it a bit greasy and the quality is inconsistent

Supposed to made from a single free range breast but sometimes a leg is left in

Shares stock prices go up & down peaks & troffs as mentioned by myself in

a previous post/remark its not the end of the world & it picks up again in

due course I’ve got a small amount of shares 300 to be precise when I

bought the Celtic Shares I knew I was buying into a long haul thing not

to sell them on asap or looking to make some financial gain via said

shares even if I was a multi-millionare & bought & held the most amount

of shares within our Club I still would not sell them on to make profit

that’s because I’m Celtic daft & love for our Club & would want to make

sure I also left our Club in sensible & safe hands I would not buy shares

for speculate to accumilate purposes or if I was going to buy shares for

that purpose & with that intention on mind I would buy shares in business

that’s shares will quickly increase over a very short period of time & sell

them when the price of said shares looked liked they have peaked to

make fast bucks not purchase shares in football clubs thinking ones going

to make a huge profit the Stock Market does not work that way one has to

do thorough research basically cross ones ‘T’s’ & dot ones ‘I’s’ in other

words box extremely wisely when it comes to hard earned cash think of

the Stock Market as a financial Casino where if one does not operate with

caution one can lose a lot of money playing the Stock Market

    Dont understand

    Thanks!

I bought and sold a few shares in my day, so know how it works.

My Celtic shares will remain in my family for as long as the club exists.

My daughter is a supporter so she will (hopefully) pass them on to her kids.

  10. In Teneriffe for the Kilmarnock & Ross County games, Anyone knows of a decent Celtic Boozer in Costa Adeje to watch the game.

  11. In ither news…….

We are in a very dirty war and the anagram hun is a (wee) bit part player.

His skript is worthy of Dark Mingwall.

    Deliberate, shameful agenda.

    Bear-faced and just as ugly.

    HHH.

  12. Corkcelt – I haven’t been to Costa Adeje, but me, my wife, daughter son in law and grandkids are off there in late June early July.

So I checked out Irish pubs and believe there is The Irish Fiddler and another (cannot remember it’s name) right next door to each other in Costa Adeje.

This post is probably as much help as an ashtray on a motorbike so sorry, if you can get on trip adviser I’m sure that’s were I seen it.

    As David66 just stated

Irish Fiddler at San Eugenie area ( Costa Adeje)

There is another 2 Celtic bars about 75m up the road from San Eugenie music bar

One is the Celts Well, can’t remember the other

    Now

I changed my address on Monday for my Celtic shares, hope I have caused a disturbance

I also transferred shares I held in my Auld Da’s name over to my 2 Ghirls,

I made a mistake, half of daughter No1 were transferred in her correct married name, the other half in her maiden name ( preference and the other share type)

Daughter No2 got hers in her maiden name – oooops

Created mayhem with share price 😂

  15. Norrie Thanks, Yep that mix up in transfer of shares probably spooked the market & caused a run on the shares.

McNut, Not sure what I missed but I think I will survive without finding out.

  16. BB………………..

    What “Story” ?

I hope I’m wrong but thuv buried it. Him an’ his buddy huv goat awy wi’ it..

    Naw?

What could be stopping a legitimate story of awful hun behaviour gettin’ ooooot?

I mean public disorder was at stake.

    Summit’s up?

  17. try again eejit,

    San Euginio, Costa Adeje.

IRISH FIDDLER, a Tenerife instituation been going for maybe 20 years plus now

attached to TEMPLE BAR owned by same people you can walk through both.

Food is fine, beer is good, tv is good, entertainment good. January/February quiet, but the staff are always welcoming.

These two are the GREENOCK CELTIC club equivalent.

100 yards away is THE IRISH ROVER, also good for a laugh, good kareoke, bit more em, PORT GLASGOW HIBS,

but honestly for years, for me, a big part of my tnereife experience, even with wife and mother in law in tow who are not celtic minded.

Its all good, give it a try.

  18. The same barman has worked in the Irish Fiddler for years and years. I spoke to him often, just chit chat, very celtic and scotlkand and ireland knowledge, he speaks with a broad irish accent.

I said to him “wheraboots ir ye frum in ireland”

    he said

“los cristianos, i just picked up the accent working here”

    hahahahhaha

  19. pps,

If McNutts owns 1% of celtic shares, then his posts on here are interefering and influencing the share price, and could be construed as insider dealing.

  20. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

GG, A friend in work is a Motherwell supporter and is connected to the Motherwell board.

He told me before Christmas, we are still very keen on Turnbull , the deal is still on the table, Motherwell are happy with our offer. However , the move will only take place if we are happy with his fitness after returning to action.

  21. CORKCELT on 15TH JANUARY 2020 9:27 PM

He is probably trying to drive down the price to enable him to increase his holding.

    hostile takeover ?

    hahahahhaha
