Very decent result overall, although slightly disappointed in that we could have won it, imo.
Some really good performances, and I thought Soro especially did a fine job when he came on – hopefully a good sign of things to come. Much improved, and encouraging for Sunday.
Stebhoy – watched a good bit of their game. Celtic would take a battering from all quarters for that type of performance at home against a Polish team. They are indeed riding their luck.
We know the devil already has their soul, it seems a reasonable explanation for their luck.

Our general in play was much better but we still look a bit nervous at the back i for one thought we would win the game at half time it’s a poor show not to in my opinion.
However as I said on Sunday we are going thru a blip we will roar back . We must keep the/our faith .
Now a small point I don’t care about the rotten mob
But made a point of watching the forces of darkness game a few things struck me
They don’t seem as panicked as they did last year when they are not playing well .
The second thing is and it may ruffle a few feathers.
I wish people would stop telling us how lucky they are or rotten they are they are going to give us a run for our money they are better than last year.
I hope they falter when they drop a point or lose as game then we will see there metal . They are playing with confidence even when they don’t seem to be great. Good teams get the job done. We have been doing what they are doing for years.
To underestimate them would be a mistake.

Gotta to take the positives. Lenny more involved. Good result against a good French team. Not quite out of it Europa League wise, though without crowds not the same thing. AC Milan look like winning the group, we have got to play six games regardless so still in with some kind of a chance, so why not? More players now involved, pity about big big Kris, but he could recover quicker than others. See positives from big Shane, Nir and El Hamed on the cusp, young Welsh getting more game time et al. Time to start winning games again, starting Sunday, do that and we are on the verge of a quadruple treble, if that is not an incentive short term I do no know what is. Allons Y!
One significant change tonight was that our full backs weren’t rampaging forwards at every opportunity. This combined with Broony playing deeper, and closer to the central defenders, made us far more solid and less open to counter attacks .
A welcome change in tactics.
Big Duffy had a very shaky first half, and slightly better second half. I honestly thought he would show up better, but tonight’s wee change in the set up I mentioned, might just help him to regain some confidence and composure.
A few top performances, with Cal Mac, Elyanousse & Laxalt being my best 3 .
I’m sure we will kick on after tonight , and the return to fitness of others will also help.
Fair play to our manager, he answered a few critics tonight including myself.
Onwards to Sunday.

Neil Lennon & McCartney on
NEIL Lennon reflected on a bittersweet night in France, as his Celtic produced an impressive performance against Lille, establishing a 2-0 first-half lead before the home side hit back with two second-half goals to ensure a share of the spoils on matchday two of the UEFA Europa League group stages.
The Celtic manager was pleased with his side’s attacking intent, and that they got their first point on the board in Group H, but having established the two-goal lead, and continued to create chances on the counter-attack after the break, he was disappointed not to be heading home with all three points.
Speaking after the game, Neil Lennon said: “I thought we were outstanding in the first half, and I thought if we’d taken care in the final third on the counter-attack in the second half, we could have put the game to bed.
“We scored two beautiful goals. We looked a threat all half, and also looked a threat on the counter in the second half. I’m happy but it’s tinged with disappointment as well, but it should give us a lift and a positivity going into the rest of the group, and we’re getting players back. You can see some of them are not fully fit, with the effects of COVID and injuries, but we’re going to get stronger as we go along and we’ll need the bodies as well.”
Moi Elyounoussi was Celtic’s goal hero on the night, scoring two superb goals in the first-half, and he had a couple of opportunities in the second half that could have led to his hat-trick. At the other end of the park, Scott Bain produced a string of excellent saves, including one from a Jonathan David spot-kick.
“We had a horrendous decision given against us for the penalty, which was outside the box,” said Neil Lennon, “For me, you don’t need VAR for that. It was clearly outside the box, and we felt really aggrieved with that decision. But Scott made an excellent save and also had a couple of great saves in the first half, and he can be delighted with his contribution.
“Our first goal was a brilliant goal. Ajeti did well to win the ball high, and then Moi goes on and curls in a beauty. For the second goal, Frimpong’s picked out Moi with a lovely pass. So, two really well-worked goals and it gave us a foothold in the game.
“I just wish Moi had pulled the trigger on a couple of occasions in the second half and he might have got his hat-trick ton. He showed his class tonight and I thought he was sublime at times.
“I thought we were superb in the first half and we should have won the game. Overall, it’s a good result away from home in Europe against a very good side, but it’s tinged with a massive disappointment that we haven’t won the game. It’s a tough group but we’re relishing it and we can take a lot of positives from tonight.”
