While Neil Lennon’s mind will be more engaged with preparations for next season than SPL results between now and then he will be a bit alarmed at how porous his midfield has been recently. Celtic have been leaking goals at the back in an alarming manner but the cover from midfield has contributed most to the problem.
Injuries have been disruptive but it’s surprising that the team shape has not been maintained, irrespective of who is playing.

I have been saying for a long time that it’s the poor implementation of our systems that is the issue.
Our central midfielders are ineffective at both ends of field.
They tend to hover around centre circle neither aiding the attack or providing assistance to defense.
We have huge gaps all over the field allowing opponents time and space to exploit.
Our defense fears pace so tends to back up early and the huge gap between them and isolated midfielders leaves a huge dangerous zone for opposition to exploit.
Our coaches are still learning but unless they recognize their own failings and address we will continue to be erratic.

Juventus were dreadful . They seemed to be terrified of Bayern. Every single player was awful. Buffon looked like a bewildered, arthritic old man at the first goal. That goal stemmed from Pirlo passing the ball to a Bayern player . Bayern’s second goal was offside . I thought Conte was very fair and honest in his post match stuff.

7 March 2013 – UEFA Europa League – Romania: Steaua Bucharest – Chelsea FC
The match between Steaua and Chelsea was marked by a number of discriminatory incidents. Inside and outside the stadium there were demonstrations of far right political statements through Nazi salutes and the display of red, white and black banners referring to the Third Reich and a large flag with a Celtic cross (widely used by the ‘White Power’ movement). During the match Chelsea’s Israeli player Benayoun, was singled out for whistling by Steaua Bucharest supporters every time he touched the ball.
