Agree, Boyata if anything playing better, but if our French guys are not up for it BR should bin them until their attitude improves or we move them on .Same goes for any others such as Jozo and his new pal.

The board will come up smelling of roses & Brendan will leave. We will never ever win 10IAR with these charlatans in charge at board level.
Fu*ked over a top class manager and didn’t strengthen when he told us we couldn’t sit still.
We have incompetent ars*holes at board level and at fan level who cannot see past this board.
Come on down the next manager because believe me you’ll get sha* on just like the rest have when we are in a position of strength.

Well said Kölncelt. As I said earlier if the team performed like the fans we’d be world beaters.

Heard he had a problem with gambling a long time ago but didn’t want to mention it on here as i thought it was inappropriate to spread such a rumour which i could not confirm as fact.
So we are now putting Celtic’s lacklustre European performances down to a rumoured gambling addiction which allegedly afflicts the Griffalo. Mmmm….. sounds reasonable.
Last week according to that charlatan John James he was bullying Odsonne Édouard.
Well I heard he is a wee, fat, lazy, bullying, gambling, megashagging, good for nothing, Tunnocks Teacake eating so and so.
If Brendan wants to manage Celtic, then he has to play the way Salzburg played this evening, also in the Transfer window in January,he has to get rid of at least 5 Players,1 Boyata,is a cert to leave, put Edourd , Nitcham, Lustig,Hendry, also forget about players from the Scottish League, and loans from Man City, etc, hopefully the board will give him substantial funds to bring in at least 4 new players,by the way I feel sorry for young Hendry, but he isn’t up for it at Celtic, but that’s one of Brendan Rodgers many mistakes on recruiting ,
When the season started Brendan said everybody had returned from the close season superfit as demanded by him as they would not get a game. Having watched Salzburg tonight and a defeated Tottenham, who chased every ball down against Barca, I have been left wondering what that definition of superfit really means because as a team we are nowhere near as dynamic as Salzburg and even more so Spurs.
I think you’ll find Spurs and Salzburg have massive physical players in midfield.
We have – Forrest, Mulumbu, McGregor and Ntcham
And, we wonder why?

Just watched the game from scratch despite knowing the score.
So objectively….as I can be….
1. The Celtic goal was as early as it was an abberation. We created close to the square root of Fek all else.
2. Mulumbu is a worthy Broonie ally/stand in/successor
3. He looks as fit or fitter as a free agent than our full time tunnocks tea cake munching ‘pros’
4. Their equaliser was a team effort, insofar as 3 Celtic defenders each game them too much space.
4. The second was ugly.
5. The third seemed to me to be harsh.
6. We wurnae/urnae at the races against this team.

Yes they do but both those teams are dynamic from back to front, whereas we look slow and ponderous throughout the team in comparison. As someone pointed out earlier when we didn’t have the ball we looked completely lost then when we did get it we quickly lost possession again.
I wasn’t happy with Griff’s application tonight but it is up to the midfield to feed the forwards which didn’t happen tonight, apart from our goal, and unfortunately has not been happening for a fair part of this year. Therein lies our major problem as well as poor defending down our right flank, in Europe.

Losing quality players and replacing them with inferior players ( sometimes no replacement ) leads to inevitable results.
What a way to treat a manager who has won every domestic trophy available since he started with us.

Possession is a Celtic quandary .
When we have it we seem focused on going sideways and backwards.
Our slavish devotion to it puts the fear into our defense.
Our opponents are happy for us to dominate possession as we rarely create a threat.
For it to be comfortable you have to have movement off the ball to make retaining it easier.
As we have no real movement off the ball our player in possession is usually in rush and panic mode.
It has now become a millstone around our neck .

Three of us in the pub watching it. Two other fellas within earshot – all five agreed as 2nd half was kicking off with us 1-0 up, that we’d take a draw right there and then.
We got beat by a hungry, dynamic side, players who looked as if they wanted it bad.
Huns played like a hungry dynamic side, albeit with much less quality but deserved their win against a pedestrian Rapid.
We’ve lost our hunger.
Our dynamism comes with it – witness the mauling of the Huns. But that’s the only time the players have looked a motivated unit this season. Doing it when it suited them.
But players shouldn’t ever be allowed to get into that state of grace – they need kept on edge, kept HUNGRY.
It looks form a distance that BR’s man-management is going somewhat awry. Tonight was worryingly Deila-esque in player reaction to adversity.
First question asked of the squad at Lennoxtown this morning should be- ‘Who WANTS to play for Celtic?’
Not who’s contractually obliged, who gets a kick off the fame, or who does it for the money. Just simply, who gets the buzz?
Those hesitating or shoe-gazing should be putting out the cones with the kids and picking up the towels for the rest of their contracts.
But I fear we may be playing five-a-side from then on.

ON — room for improvement.
Drifted in and out of the game tonight.
Overall poor but at least he did some good.
Seems to have lost a bit of sharpness, bit careless at times.
However he was positive and creative at times.
MF was all over the place at times — no help from up front.
LG was poor — no energy, no involvement in the press when they had the ball.
OE offered something but not enough.
