My Father was, the fact that you are having the slightest negative thought about the current fenian team shows me that you do not have a clue. During the nine in a row of the orange football team, no one thought that Celtic would ever win any domestic trophy again. Glasgow Celtic have just won their 9th domestic trophy in a row, and you are bitching about the appointment of a Celtic-daft, good manager who believes it is his duty to lead this great team to another title.     Reading back after a GREAT night with my family and friends of Tims, both personal and on the blog, Hail Hail to all, and no one should doubt that the puir wee souls frae Govanside are well represented here tonight, trying their poor wee best to sow discord amongst The Trinity followers. Unfortunately some of The Trinity followers have fallen for it – pity the puir wee souls Lhads and Lhassies!! Especially the trier that is the wan wae just five numbers tae his handle – at least it starts with 3!!!

    I had my doubts about Neil as well, apart from the odd snipe I think it’s been a very good subject on these pages this week … but to dismiss Neil because he failed at Hibs or Bolton is nonsense … we shouldn’t have asked him to fill the void if he isn’t good enough now he shouldn’t have been good enough in February … he was asked to do a job … he done it … if we didn’t won’t today he would have been out on his arse …. we canny have it all ways … fill in February get to F in May

     

     

    Neil didn’t accept the job straight away for one reason … he done what was asked now the board have to reciprocate… does any right minded Celtic fan expect him to work February-May then get shoved out the way …. if they do they don’t know our Neil … so some want the trophies them ditch the manager who got us over the line …. think about it

    I don’t know, to be absolutely honest. Neither do I think appointing him is a disgrace or a terrible thing to do.

     

     

    The reaction to Nei Lennon from some has been beyond any negative opinion about his managerial abilities – sad to hear some of the more extreme comments.

     

     

    There may be better candidates – we don’t know who applied, so how can we tell?

    Never came from such a high, to such a low in such a short time.

     

    Lawell & Co waited till the celebrations were in full swing to announce the new manager. They were happy to let the stories rumble on about Benitez, villa boas, mourhino and others, whilst back in February, they already had their man. We need at least 6 to 8 players brought in before July’s CL qualifiers, and the football in the last 2 months has been poor.

     

    All good things come to an end.. and I’m just glad I saw the treble treble.
