Jeopardy of international travel

252

While we are all feeling confident ahead of the title run-in, things can change quickly, especially with a monitored infectious disease spreading through society.  In little over a week we go to Ibrox, where our hosts are already fretting over the absence of a player who tested positive after flying to Zambia on international duty.

Travel through international airports, on connecting coaches and flights, brings a jeopardy until domestic travel.  With so many players away on international duty and set to return in the days before going to Ibrox, we face a lottery.  There is nothing Celtic can do about this and little the players can do.  It will be a tense few days when they arrive back at Lennoxtown.

  1. Burst of pressure from Wales ends with keeper comfortable save. Austrians controlling possession.

Yeah, I too remember reading, Kev Jungle, when I was a lurker many years ago.

Unlike you, I was able to decode his tip off about the oldfirm £49 ticket trap.

If folk would’ve cottoned on to the FACt that in 2016, Celtic plc agreed that Sevco where Rangers FC, without moving their lips, whilst 53,000 Celtic season ticket holders were insisting that, Rangers FC died in 2012?

So, if Rangers FC died in 2012, why did Celtic plc agree to keeping Rangers ticket prices, for when Celtic played Sevco FC, in 2016?

This is Celtic fc’s version of Dan Brown’s lost symbol, hidden behind the Brendan Rodgers street parties.

Sevco are either Rangers, or their not?

Celtic plc passed Sevco off as being worth the same admission fee as Rangers FC.

Celtic season ticket holders agreed with Celtic plc, and paid Rangers priced tickets to see, Sevco v Celtic, at ibrox on December 2016.

Celtic season ticket holders in the Broomloan Road Stand, after paying £49…

sang – “YOUR NOT RANGERS ANYMORE”….

    after paying oldfirm ticket price?

Kev Jungle, was correct in 2016, and the same club lie tickets, 6 years later, are £52 I think?

The scorned, abused, mocked, colluded against, Kev Jungle, was 100% correct.

And the Celtic season ticket holders soul sellers have inflicted that indelible stain, that joins all of the other indelible stains on Celtic’s stature, whatever little remains of it.

  4. Something Celtic badly lack. A player who can put the ball in the postage stamp. Absolutely fantastic goal.

Unlike a few, I quite like your posts so this is just a simple enquiry re your comment below:

I`ll accept `petrified` if you mean in the literal sense but they don`t feel pressure? What makes you think that? Their high wages would soon become the norm for the players so I cannot go along with your view that money and pressure can`t co-exist.

    —–

I take your point, and maybe I should have explained better. What I was getting at was the type of pressure that the ‘common man/woman’ might experience as we try to navigate our way through life – in particular the loss of security & the financial burden that can be ‘just around the corner’ if you perform badly and lose your job due to your performance….also the difficulty finding a new one if you have failed in some way.

That doesn’t apply to those at the top clubs in the football world, contracts must be honoured however badly you perform. I accept that there will be a strong desire to be successful – but, in my view, that is different – not pressure, professional pride….maybe?

But I’m focused on Wales about 90% of the time. If we get past Ukraine, either one of these teams will give us no end of trouble. I assume we would be away if we reach the second game.

  11. Austrians pressing early, but younger Welsh players are jet propelled.

Bale with superb goal from rehearsed corner move.

    Brilliant!

  12. Welsh crowd now giving it laldy. Austrians can’t handle lightning speed of James and Williams.

  13. Austrians with free kick on 18 yard line. This is their chance.

    Alaba taking it.

    Blocked!

  14. If things stay as they are, we play Austria on Tuesday. I doubt if we’ll learn anything, because the losers tonight will be utterly demoralized.
