    Disappointed with what seemed like a lazy performance from us. Lack of guile and urgency . Manager looked bored himself and sat on his arse for most of the game…

    going for players who are still on holiday and want time to think over a loan deal , get a grip , Mo Ely if you had talent you would not be on loan to us.

    first off – that pitch is an absolute disgrace. Odd bouncing and sticky roll – players slipping around!

     

     

    Still a very very poor display and poor formation from the get go. Took 70mins to change it.

     

     

    Taylor is not the answer – he is a great crosser of the ball but other than that he has no pace and is predictable. We missed griff or rogic – who is our #10 cause I don’t think its christie.

     

     

    The team needs a boost – I’m fed up with out defenders getting bullied – get that fixed ASAP.

    Jullienn is not the answer at CH.

     

    For such a big athletic guy, he is far too easily bullied and that led to the pen today.

     

    Not good enough.

    We have too many players with a mind set to it if playing on these pitches

     

     

    Depth in squad in now a real concern for me

    More creativity and pace in middle – we need pace

     

    And I am also of the view – stop this one up front

    You correctly point out that Celtic have won 11 trophies on the bounce. However, you’ll be aware they weren’t won by the players we were watching today

    Having watched all our Pre season games I can’t say I was surprised with that Today….only the second half of the Hibs game did we look anything like exciting …..

     

    That display today is a real confidence Booster to Sevco and others……

     

    On Wednesday I would have Bitton and Ntcham in for Broon and Jullien .Frimpong for Forrest and Elhamed at RB….Klimala for Elyounoussi……But it’s ok…NFL will play the same So called strongest team ….

    If Brown starts on Wednesday night it just sends the wrong signal to the rest of the squad. Ntcham now deserves his shot.

    Calm yer jets lhads early days…..this team have always been slow starters. A few big time charlies ie Ajer and Julien who need a wee reality check but that’ll get fixed!!

    We were never losing it but likewise we were never winning it either.

     

     

    The next game is all that matters now. And the squad reinforcements we need too.

    With respect, you are looking backwards. There are no Tierneys, Virgils or Armstrongs in this team.

     

    Today, I watched a team going through the motions, with no pace, no skill, and no determination, a team that couldn’t pass, couldn’t dribble, couldn’t cross, couldn’t shoot, couldn’t head the ball, and couldn’t handle a lone striker with zero support. Their keeper had not one single save to make.

     

     

    You mention perspective. I watched both the Bayern and Barcelona games yesterday. Probably a mistake, because it did put today’s abject fiasco into perspective. We’re not very good.

    That was a poor performance on a crappy pitch, this happens sometimes and I hope that’s our worst of the season.

     

    I think also our team missed the support today, worth a goal per game easy.

    I think many of the comments today are spot on but we have to put this game into perspective. Game number two of a long season. Many on here having been calling for Lenny to give Ntcham the nod over Brown and maybe he’s realising he must do this… we are the champions and have had an off day, we have seen this before in Ayrshire and hopefully we will kick on from this. Keep the faith….

    celtic seasons always have that feeling about them. We have been dire recently and pre season games showed our blatant weaknesses. Yet, we have done absolutely about it.

     

     

    Priority – CB and LB

     

    Striker – To freshen up and spark the forward line

     

    Midfielder – Defensive and a #10 .

     

     

    Advantage rangers – they have the momentum. They have added quality and depth to their squad and so far look a good bet.

     

     

    Celtic have financial clout , built for exactly these moments! Will we spend and does hammond have what it takes.

    when is a disaster not a disaster, em when it is game 2 of a 38 game season, and you drop 2 points.

     

     

    a disaster would be 0 points after 2 games, you know, like that Dutch Kipper Jansen in 97/98/

     

     

     

    how over reactive are the comments, you all seen the movie before.

     

     

    celtic will win the leage, with this squad, with Broonie as skipper, with James Calum, Ryan as provider of goals and assists, hopefully Griff will be in amongst it, and Eddie stays for a record breaker (another record breaker of the GOD and treble trebles.

    I thought the team were very poor today all round. We really do need to add some first team picks to our squad a LB CH CM LW CF and nothing else should be considered with the money we have in the bank. If it means emptying our account so be it.We all know that in reality, Eddie if not sold this window will be sold next year. So the money spent will be recouped. In fact if we win the trophies this season Eddie’s price goes up. If we have a poor season does his price come down? All I think most of us care about is the 10. Take their equalling of our 9 away from them.

    the supporters are not there – deal with it! players hate losing training ground matches , let alone matches for 3 points in a 10iar season. We need a lift and Lennon needs to be supported by the typical pondering board – starting another season with no plan and picking up scraps when they are available
