Leigh, Kieran, marking your card

596

The most important result in international week is that we get all our (33) players back fit and ready for Saturday. That looks to be the case, although I hear Erik Sviatchenko had a close shave at Hampden. The job now is for Ronny Deila to assess the preparedness of his squad for the Hearts game. All may be fit, but it’ll be impossible for the likes of Tom Rogic to be at his best after coping with a 12,000 mile journey home and the necessary body clock adjustments.

Ronny will also have to counsel Kieran Tierney, who has had another big week. Teenagers often progress in waves, after with each crest there’s often a trough. The focus for Kieran right now has to be 100% Hearts.

I read Leigh Griffiths had an uneventful game against Denmark. Don’t bet against him shining on Saturday. He’s a player who flourishes with a point to prove.

I’ve not written much on Resolution 12 recently and I don’t see that changing for a few weeks (despite the trolls), but I have been very active on the subject. Anyone who thinks I’d skip over this is welcome to self-certify as a mindless troll below (I’m counting on at least one being sufficiently mindless…).

What I’d like to do is mark your card on this one. Completely erroneous claims have been made. Outrageous things have been written. There’s a Kangaroo Court underway which would do Salem proud. Let the loons run with their agenda of running Celtic down, but be circumspect. Your card’s been marked.

You are being played, all right, but not by Celtic.

I expressed my views to another poster on the day the resolution was withdrawn, ‘it’s f***ed!’ Were my words.

I’ve always saluted the attempts and the diligence of the Resolutioners and will continue to do so.

However, I doubted then, as now, the wisdom in taking Celtic at their word.

It’s a guess but if there is a ‘smoking gun’ then it’s that the monkeys will go bust shortly.

Now that really would get PL off the hook.

The word Communism comes from Communion, which is the basis of the Christian Faith.

Any ideals espoused by Communism can be found in the Sermon on the Mount and elsewhere in the New Testament and precede Marx, Engels and any other plagiarist.

I’ve always said that the board put their faith in two things.

Neither of which I can blame them for.

Due process. The laws were there to prevent what has happened in the last four years-I genuinely cannot blame the board for every one of those laws being circumvented.

Going bust,as they cannot be a going concern subject to FFP regulations. They have also been ignored. Eventually they must run out of money. But they don’t.

Their latest downfall is around the corner. But it has been that way for too long. Time to hasten it along.

Just trying to defend Celtic and Celtic supporters who are actually doing something about what’s happened.

If guys on here can’t give it some time then I will admit defeat. The Res 12 guys have asked for patience themselves over the past few years then threw an end March time limit post onto the blog.

It certainly had the desired effect of installing urgency but it’s also complete nonsense.

That’s why I called BRTH an old fox!

If there is s deadline it’s end June and it’s unlikely that that stands anyway.

Ah time zones. Im in EST. So the earth spins on its axis. My day may be 5 hours behind yours but yes I’m done with this experiment.

It was good but then it became lazy journalism. At the historic moment in the history of Glasgow Celtic, the perfect coalescence of when lazy journalism was the antipathy of all things Celtic, CQN joined the hordes of Old Firm. You can keep it.

  24. Ah, but Maggie, when those who espouse a better journalism leave, then we are bereft of pressure for better.

In my opinion you don’t need to defend Celtic supporters on here apart from the genuine trolls, but on the whole they’re fairly obvious.

Funny that you’ve mentioned BRTH making his post about the supposed deadline. I can’t quite get my head around that.

Why make a statement, that was incredibly inflammatory, whilst claiming that the board were so supportive of the Resolutioners and their proposal?

    I’m struggling to understand why.

Jim’s a clever guy so it’s obvious there was a reason.

I’m merely curious because ultimately it’ll matter little to us. We’ll buy our tickets, home and away, and leave the petty squabbles until pre or post Celtic games.

In the interim, we’ll call out our custodians for what they are.

    Bobby.

I was referring to the organisation as ” entryist .”

I`m quite sure that the members don`t see themselves as such.

It is the organisation I deplore. Not it`s members who , I have no doubt , are convinced of their rectitude.

BUT the organisation has a vested interest.

    They have acknowledged as such.

The previous threats were from without.

This threat, as far as I am concerned , is from within.

    A far more serious threat.

    Sorry.

I went to Drumboe on Easter Sunday and listened to a most inspirational speech by Pearse Doherty, this young man,in my opinion,is the one to led us in the future.

On Monday we celebrated our 1916 leaders with the Fanadpatriots, again we were inspired by the words of Padraig Mac Lochlainn ,who never fails the people of Fanad
