    We go again on Sunday.

     

     

    Is Ajer badly injured?

    A good point. Need to do the double over SP to give us a chance.

     

     

    Do we prevent one of their goals if Ajer stays on? Big blow if he’s out long-term.

     

     

    Only slight criticism is the subs seemed a reaction to being pegged back to 2-2. They were piling the pressure on – should these changes have been made earlier?

    Hard to analyse that game,

     

     

    Did we throw it away- they scored 2 scrappy goals and we blew two good breakaway chances.

     

     

    Or did we steal a draw- they has more of the attack – and missed a pen.

     

     

    Either way- it will have to do.

     

     

    Shame about big Ajer- hope he’s not out too long.

     

     

    Lovely performances from Elyounoussi, Frimpong, Laxalt, Ajeti and McGregor.

     

     

    Ntcham faded in the 2nd half, unfortunately.

     

     

    We need Bitton, Welsh and Elhamed for the next run of games.

    Good game. Bit your hand off before the game for a draw so only the nature of throwing away a good lead leaves a sour taste.

     

     

    Moi with a wee bit of composure 2nd half and we could have scored. Still look vulnerable at the back and a likely absence of Ajer a big blow as Duffy needs time out.

     

     

    Lots of positives (and tired legs) but clear as day Scott Brown at this level is done.

    Much better team performance despite the draw.

     

    The team should take encouragement from this showing & have something to take into Sunday.

     

    Ajer’s injury is a worry.

     

    Our subs apart from Welsh seemed tired – maybe explaining why NFL waits so long before bringing them on.

    laxalt is absolutely tremendous in too many ways ! he is the type of player we need in the midfield. tackles with intent, drives forward and with plenty of skill.

    Would have taken a draw before the game. But that really was 2 points lost. Briwn and Ntcham should have been off on the hour . Also some of our decision making in the final 3rd really is poor.

    We need to learn to close these important games down from a winning position. Keystone cops defending for both Lille goals.

    However, our manager is reactive, he needs to be proactive.

    saint stivs – we didn’t lay a finger on them in midfield. I’ll take 2-2 but our manager was blind and sat waiting and hoping as the team were ripped apart time and time again. He needs to anticipate and prevent – instead he does nothing until 80mins.

     

     

    He’s got the team playing well going forward – but defensively (middle to back) this is a team lacking in legs and tenacity where most needed!

    That was a good team performance yet you still have to have your wee dig at our captain.

     

    If you couldn’t see his contribution to the game then maybe you were watching some other match tonight.

    Really good result tonight which could have been so much better. Many good performances but criminal defending at first Lille goal. Shocking that we did not have a man on the back post at a corner kick. We paid a heavy price but I’m well pleased with the effort of the płayers.

    I never thought I would be regretting 2 points dropped at the end of this game . Gave away 2 sloppy goals but still had chances to win it . First half we were the better team and , although they had plenty of possession in the second half , we looked comfortable outwith the two moments of slackness . We showed all the skill ,pace and spirit we have been lacking this season and after a few miserable weeks ,we at last have something to build on.

    Worked really hard against good opposition and got ourselves into decent positions ,just the decision making let us down ……..definite signs of improvement so not unhappy.

    Much more positive..could have been worse on the end of a second half onslaught.

     

    Incredibly important for our team moral that we got something.

     

    Losing would have hurt.

     

    Of course 2 nil up is never nice to not win .But realistically we appeared to have a game plan tonight and loads of fight.

     

    Not impressed with Nchams decision making and general sloppymess..but other than that..no complaints.

     

    I thought Eloynoussie and Duffy played great as did Scott Bain and McGregor

    Fantastic result against a very good team.We could have won it,but,we would have jumped at that result.Some great performances.Calmac,every blade of grass he covered.Laxsalt,like a girly looking Rotweiller.Frimpong,,Elyanoussi,great wee appearance from Eddy.Some lovely touches.Hopefully a big moral booster.It should be.

     

    Our luck continues right enough.Get Nir back,and Ajer does his groin.

     

    Delighted.

    What is obvious is the different levels of pace and fitness in the team, Ntcham was walking not showing any intent to defend, you cannot have that, laxalt is a cracking player . Duffy gave away a penalty slipped but threw himself in for blocks and made clearing headers late on. We should have won, they will fancy playing at Celtic Park if we need 3 points.

    Before the game I would have bitten your hand off for a draw, as I would wager most of us would, but after our first half and then losing a couple of scrappy goals it feels more like a defeat, we also missed a couple of sitters and we could as they could have scored more, happy enough I suppose, it’s just kinda deflating, this no crowds is not good, the Big man told the world that football without fans is nothing, how right he was.

    Good result, I’d have taken a draw before the game.

     

     

    We are one hell of a unfit group of players. Apart from Laxalt who didn’t stop running, the rest were blowing out their arses after an hour.

     

     

    Is it possible they’ve all had Covid.
