At least the authorities did something about their cheating, Greenwood said that the £5 million they were fined for the previous breach was equivalent to a football club in the EPL being fined 130 million. Get their CEO in to run football here

2 defeats in 2 for Leicester and Rodgers. Their midfield anchor Ndidi has been out injured and they’ve looked distinctly average in his absence.
As Shankland scores a tidy goal for Dundee Utd.

Dessybhoy – agreed.
Down there, clear, decisive action.
Up here, clear, decisive, carve up.
BTW – the point of the non football post was to highlight the significant ripple effect of cheating by just ONE club.
In this instance, four years after a club in England breaks English rules, a Scottish club is negatively impacted in European competition.
Just a small example of why cheats have to be hammered.
Otherwise many others suffer.
Hail hail.

Maybe you weren’t watching or looking for something else negative.. Jonny went through a wee spell of putting in terrific balls around the 6yrd line but no hoops jersey in that area… by the way if Leigh Griffiths wasn’t in the starting 11 last night I don’t think any other player would have been sniffing about that area to put the ball in the net …

Dundee Utd v Hibs on live just now, last game of the round …. but the “draw” isn’t being done until the 7.15pm highlights programme ???
That sounds legit ..
Surely the draw should be “live” for the tv audience

I think Bayo still has a part to play. One of the articles by CBTN showed that he is a true penalty box striker which i do not think our other strikers are. Also, Bayo seems to be the only striker we have who is a threat in the air. Eddy, Leigh and Polish Paddy (from the way his games has been described) do not possess that quality.
When it comes to plastic pitches against teams with 10 men behind the ball, I would like to see us utilising Bayo with another striker and getting balls into the box for him to attack (he was very effective against Hearts at home). These pitches, against the type of tactics adopted by the opposition, make it very difficult for a passing game to be effective.
Also, if anyone has seen the goals scored by Defoe or Morelos, then they can attest to the effectiveness of getting the ball into the box against mediocre opposition; missed and mishit clearances and deflections are abound.
Let Bayo have an opportunity to cause some chaos. It at least provides another tactical option.

The only time I’ve seen Bayo, was in the Hearts game. The one were they were desperate to claim two own goals. He gave them a torrid time that day, with his direct and physical approach. OK, he’s no Edouard but hopefully he can add something different when required.
I thought wee Sally nailed it yesterday, when he said we were trying to score the perfect goal.
