Training game for Celtic. Seldom bothered by Thistle. Celtic with dominant with the majority of possession but were unable to convert possession into the goal ratio their play deserved. PT bus parked but Celtic continue to display an obvious lack of a potent goal scoring threat. Game highlights – VVD imperious in the first 45. Rogic – good game, well taken goal. Boyata getting better each game.
Has anyone got a hold of Neil McCann and his log book to ask him if it was a penalty?

Well done Celtic. Nice to see Rogic get game time and score. I thought McGregor did fine and good to see Henderson getting a few minutes as well. Roll on Wednesday.

McGregor certainly seems more willing / able to take men on than Forrest

There ye are then. Both Celtic goals due to poor PT defending and PT should have had a pen. Why don’t we just give PT a well deserved 1-0 win and 3 points .

I’m looking for a big win today. 1 goal in the first half and 3 in the second. Although another 2-0 after a long trip away and tough game midweek will also suffice.
Let’s just take a higher percentage of our chances.

Suffice is sufficient.
Some excellent footballing in first half. Foot off the gas in the second. Incredible to think that Biton and Rogic were the midfield in that cup loss against Morton. Bitton oozes class and Rogic adds subtlety to our forward play. Both terrific passers.
Someone should inform the more ignorant of the tv pundits of the terms of Law 12:
“Handling the ball involves a deliberate act of a player making contact with the ball with his hand or arm.”

Good to see McGregor playing well again. He’s not a world beater but he is an able footballer. Lost,his way a bit and certainly wasn’t flavour of the month with the sons in my household. I was proved correct when I told them to give him a chance.
Gordon Strachan talks such (un)common sense that he causes his co pundits to raise their game.

Harp Ice and Magners would be the usual.
The UVF consume copious amounts of Magners btw.
European continental beers are the best anyway.

Aye little known fact the oul Guinness family donated £100,000 to the UVF for procuring weapons in 1913. £ millions if converted to todays values.

My friends in Celtic,
A competent performance where you never have to get out of 3rd gear to get 3 pts. Three points is three points and we can only play who’s in front of us., however games like this do not equip us for Europe. That is why I was so impressed with our result on Wednesday.
Reading back it is becoming increasingly complicated to be a fully pledged practicing CQN,er. Seeing we like lists :-
No papers.
No Sky TV.
No BBC
No betting at Billy Hill’s
No drinking Guinness.
I can see many falling at that last hurdle :-) Just hope there are no revelations about Stella.
