I’ve been going to the football long enough to remember black players being booed whenever they touched the ball. The phenomenon seemed to arrive here in the late 70s and faded around a decade later, although such is human nature I don’t think complacency is appropriate. Homophobia is a different matter.
‘Out’ gay footballers are so rare I don’t know what the reaction would be at a match but the crowd-bullying phenomenon which can exist in the game makes any minority vulnerable. The first step is to explain to the hard-of-thinking what they are doing, and the error of their ways.

Accidentally took two at once – found out the hard way.
In talking about the lack of a CL goalscorer, I think Lenny is drawing attention away from his big tactical error on Wednesday night. After 75 minutes there was a point for the taking if he had decided to shut up shop, but instead he brought on 2 strikers (Boerigter and Pukki) for what was basically 2 midfielders (Commons and Mathews). This left Brown and Mulgrew as our midfield. Zapata got lucky with his shot, but he should not have been given the room to shoot.
This was indeed a missed opportunity to get a good point in Milan.
(I should point out that I love Lenny and think the team is making great progress under him.)

You may well be right but hindsight is marvellous, if Neil had a gameplan, which it looked like he did going by his bench, I’m not going to criticise him for going for it.

Whether or not it’s hindsight doesn’t matter. If the game plan was to go for a win, he should have changed it to going for a draw. After all, that would have been an excellent result. A win was not imperative. I think Lenny is great for the club but he needs to be more pragmatic IMO. But it was great to see a Celtic team having so much possession in a difficult away match in Europe.

I hear what you are saying, I can’t find anything to disagree with either but it is Neil’s decisions, he has certainly earned the right to make them, IMO.
He’s a youngster in managerial terms and boxing clever with the Giants of the Footballing game. This Club is moving ahead so well despite the most arduous of challenges.
