Regarding the “guard of honour”
At first I thought like you that there was a bit of pettiness about it.
But on second thoughts I think it should be done this way forevermore. Rather than having some players showing dissent by their inaction while other players applaud.
Similar to applause rather than a minutes silence. It prevents the ignorant from having a platform to show it off.

I hope a place can be found for Lenny within the Celtic structure ,head of scouting for instance, if he isn’t being considered for the managers position. Not sure if his pride would allow him to take it.
Compper would not even know who Paul McStay is unfortunately.
He probably made more money than Paul did out of Celtic although Paul was well paid for his era.
Thankfully though it appears even the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Ryan Giggs knew exactly who Paul was when he quietly met up at a manchester united training camp in australia under Davie Moyes.
And the Neil Lennon possibly getting some bad news theory is news to me .
I really hope not.

Professional football in the year 2019, and I don’t particularly like the sport nowadays.
Brendan, Moussa, Dedryck they all followed the money, ultimately and each one of them betrayed Celtic to a certain extent.
I’m thankful to all 3 of these individuals however, for the success they helped bring to the club.
Pointless concerning ourselves about them, they are irrelevant now.

Wasn’t it when he very publicly threw his toys out of the pram on TV regarding transfers? I have no way of validating any of the ‘rumours’ surrounding Rodgers time with Celtic but like everyone else try and read between the lines and come to my own conclusion. I chose to believe Rodgers was working his ticket a lot earlier than he would have us believe.

Since season 2012-13 the criterion for a player to receive a league winner’s medal is 5 appearances including off the bench.
Why were so players on the rostrum today?
Did Marvin Commper make case that he turned up for training at least 5 times, so he was due a medal?

For me, Moussa Dembele didn’t have to be there today.
He took time out and made a conscious effort to attend.

Probably punching a bruise with this but today’s game tells us far too much regarding where we are and what needs to be done for next season.
Huge gulf between what RD left us with in 2016 and what BR has left us with in 2019.
We need change from top to bottom — starting with a new captain.
VK yesterday showed how it should be done — top of your game with the crowd asking for more.
Better that way than hanging about like a bad smell reducing your legacy with each passing game.
We need to go large next season.
Not to put the TFOD2.1 in their place but to make us credible in Europe once again.

No consideration is given to where we could be if BR had been supported during last years transfer window, most likely he would still be Celtic manager. Even if he did move on after getting his first choice targets we would be in a much better position going into next season, he had four targets and not one was signed, how is that his fault and what does it tell you about the support he got from the executive?

The potential that partnership had was frightening! Such a shame we never got the chance to see it develop for at least half a season.
With this in mind HUGE credit must go to Odsonne Edouard (my choice for YPOTY) for how he has dealt with being our only striking mainstay this season and dealing with the pressure that involves.
If we can sign another striker/target man in the style of Moussa (by all accounts Bayo doesn’t seem like the answer at this moment in time) to accompany Eddy then I’ve no doubt we will see him truly flourish next year. In my opinion, despite Moussa having slightly more physicality and presence, Odsonne is the more natural talent and I think that he will command our record transfer fee in a couple of seasons.
