As Ernie Lynch rightfully points out earlier, he won;t resign. Doesn’t get a payout. Think we are in a phony war now and even Neil doesn;t believe what he’s saying anymore. Up to Lawell to sack him and pay him what he’s due.

spot on with the midfield – our defense is completely exposed because middle to front we give the ball away easily and cheaply and don’t do the dirty work.
Was don’t have any player on the books who does that naturally (maybe Soro) – we are trying to teach ntcham, christie, moi etc. to trick back and tackle.
Just bring in players who’s competency is exactly that!
Its surprising coming from Lennon – he know’s this is the essential of every winning team. He said we are soft and lazy – yet I don’t see where he tries to change that.

Has anyone noticed that no matter who we play at right back they cant seem to do a job. But we never look at who is playing in front of them. The left back also has the same problem but he is just a machine.
I think christy does a lot of running, but can never seem to remember him putting in many tackles, calmac is the same and don’t forget about ntchump.
The whole team look disjointed. Christy isn’t a winger, calmac is a holding midfielder and ntchump doesn’t look like he cares.
I’ve been going on for years about buying one £10 million player a year instead of 5 x 2 million players and wasting all the wages.
The games a foot. If you are not moving forward in football, your moving backwards and our board has been the route cause.
You get what you pay for and we’ve been paying peanuts for players in recent years in football comparison.

In an era where good guys are going to struggle bringing up their familes nfl will not have to worry about that. As with anybody else you will get found out if you are not very good at your job,sorry neil whether it is players not producing, coaches not coaching or any of a myriad of other issues it is down to you. looking at the other match Benfica have barely laid a glove on their opponents in that first half. They look very solid in defence in contrast to us and to think Gerrard was anout to get his cards in the not distant past.
If Lenny is going to survive this malady, we need to limp along to the transfer window, til a commanding gk is secured. Confidence is everything.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon launched an impassioned defence of new signing Hatem Abd Elhamed, insisting that he is a natural right-back despite playing mostly as a centre-back at previous club Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

This is why we keep getting caught at right back because neither ElHammed or Frimpong are right backs
And if you know anything about football you play full backs at full back. It’s a specialist position.
Hate to say it….the huns are a well drilled outfit! i mean fek them and hang them high…but they’re well drilled!
I think it’s wrong to judge our players just now cos if we were to believe the chat on message boards you’d think they were all diddies. They’re not – they’re just very badly coached. Compare the Huns between last year and this. They have a solid shape, know their roles and do the basics very well. They give away very few chances. Our lot gift easy chances every single game cos the structure is non-existent. I thought there was hope we’d improve once the injured players came back but no. It’s abysmal and it’s time to bring in a new coach.

Win every game domestically from now until the end of the season.
Start with 1 nil ugly wins to build confidence – every game from now on is a cup final.
That’s it.
Come on Celtic… we can and have to fight this. Stop the internecine strife – it’s tearing us apart more than any tactics board. Thevines who want us to fail are feeding on it…. only we can stop it.

People keep repeating the mantra that we have the best players/best team in Scotland. Even Craigan was at it tonight, saying man for man we were a better team than Sparta. We were not. We were schooled by Sparta home and away. Just like has happened against so many other modest teams from Europe. The huns have had our measure for two seasons. Here’s a simple premise. Players should be picked on form. Laxalt would be the only player that would get in the starting XI at Ibrox this season.
All the talk the last 2-3 transfer windows was we would see big money bids for Ajer, Ntcham, Christie, Macgregor and Edouard. Well we can kiss that idea goodbye. Edouard’s value will have dropped 10 million this season.
The club is in freefall. It’s like we have gone to a Swiss clinic and asked for a euthanasia injection. We have no apparent will to live.
In truth I have been concerned about our dropping standards since we lost 2-0 at Ayebrokes under BR.
Like most things that go wrong it happens over a prolonged period .
Like a Frog that sits in the pot of water and doesn’t realise it I’d being gradually boiled.
Dembele,Sinclair,Robert’s ,Armstrong,over 80 goals literally went South from our first team.
We then punt our best home grown defender since Danny McGrain.
Rodgers falls out with Lawell .
The scouts waste millions .
The initial spike from Lenny is blunted through time.
Brownies legs go .
The frog is now virtually dead.
Just sacking Lenny won’t solve all of the problems at the club.
Our recruitment is absolutely disgraceful.
