Manchester City central player, Jason Denayer, will join Galatasaray before tomorrow’s transfer deadline. The central defender was on Celtic’s radar after the injury to Rivaldo Coetzee, and all other things being equal, I believe the player would be happy to head back to Celtic, where he played season 2014-15, but City are set to conclude the deal with the Turkish club.
Celtic will soon have Dedryck Boyata and Erik Sviatchenko back from injury, while Jozo Simunovic was rested for recent games on plastic pitches, but is available for selection alongside 19-year-old Kris Ajer.
With three senior central defenders already at the club, plus one development prospect, I believe City were concerned that Jason would not have seen the development opportunities he enjoyed at Celtic first time around.

They both play football in Scotland- that’s it! Rangers supporters are largely within a Royalist Loyalist tradition but as far as I am aware, political statements do not form a large part of either club’s output or pre-occupations.
2) How would you build on those areas of agreement?
I’d continue to play football with them while they are in the same league and cup competitions but I would also want retrospective justice on their recent cheating, even if others preferred to bury it as it looked bad in the run up to the Independence referendum.
3) What measures would you like to see the Scottish Government introduce to reduce sectarianism?
The ones we had, introduced by Jack McConnell, which focused on educative and social initiatives. There never was and still isn’t a need to define any behaviour as an offence only within the context of a football match. The OBaF initiative was just a way to introduce legislation with tartan paint on it. and it will be replaced vindictively by a Tartan painted Strict Liability scheme- which will be epically stupid.
Teaming up is the the CQN way, you’ll get used to it
When I first posted many moons ago, I was pulled up for my language. I was told it was against the CQN rules, I asked ok where’s the rules of the site I’ll have a read – there aren’t any written rules :O)
