Manchester City central player, Jason Denayer, will join Galatasaray before tomorrow’s transfer deadline. The central defender was on Celtic’s radar after the injury to Rivaldo Coetzee, and all other things being equal, I believe the player would be happy to head back to Celtic, where he played season 2014-15, but City are set to conclude the deal with the Turkish club.
Celtic will soon have Dedryck Boyata and Erik Sviatchenko back from injury, while Jozo Simunovic was rested for recent games on plastic pitches, but is available for selection alongside 19-year-old Kris Ajer.
With three senior central defenders already at the club, plus one development prospect, I believe City were concerned that Jason would not have seen the development opportunities he enjoyed at Celtic first time around.

Spot on, I’m female ha ha! I’ve been a looooong time lurker. I actually appreciate the input on here, but I’m a diehard Celtic fan and sometimes I find it a bit hard to take on the negative side of the fans when things are going so good. Fans on here can say what they want, but I stood tall outside the stadium when things were really bad (I never realised how bad). Anyhoo, it’s nice to be taken seriously as a fan.
